Get these straws so you can be like my niece and I, sipping smoothies and juices while lounging on the patio furniture in the backyard because we're fancy but we like the outdoors. Well, as long as the bugs leave us be... The true star in this is the cleaning brush because nobody has time to be slaving over a straw trying to clean it.

I love these Stainless Steel Smoothie Straws! They look nice and never rust. Of course they work just like any other straw but they are reusable so you're helping to save the environment. They clean up so nicely with the included brush or any other brushes available online. Great value!

These are awesome! Pros:- help the environment by reducing the use of single use plastics (if you want to really know what disposable cups, forks, and straws do to our planet and us, watch the documentary Bag It)- seem indestructible! I imagine my children will still be using them when they're grown- they're completely inert and non-toxic- they're better than any other straw because they get warm or chilly with your beverage! (yum, iced tea)- they go through the dishwasher just fineCons:- no, they will not biodegrade (or it will take a very long time). But apparently stainless steel is inert, and therefore a much better form of waste to the enviroment than plastics. Apparently small animals can use these things as shelter, and unlike plastic waste, they will not leach into the water tables and make male frogs develop female reproductive organs (yes, most plastics are endocrine disruptors with serious effects on humans and other animals as well).To give you an idea, they are a little taller than a 32 oz wide mouth ball jar.Update 4/6/16: We are still using these and loving them. They are still just like new. My partner discovered that they fit well through the hole of his Yeti tumbler's coffee lid. He's FINALLY on board with taking something reusable to get sodas at the gas station! His drinks stay much colder than with the styrofoam cups and plastic straws - and the amount of single use toxic materials we generate is so much lower! We still highly recommend these.

Needed a little wider straw - not for smoothies, but for pitting cherries - that may sound odd to those of you that spit pits, but if you push a plastic smoothie straw through from the stem end to the bottom "belly button" of the cherry, the stem and the pit stay in the straw and you have a whole pitted cherry ready to eat or freeze. In any event, I was hoping the wide smoothie straws would be the same size as the plastic smoothie straws - close, but not quite, so it mangles the cherries. Nice product, nicely packaged, promptly delivered, However, Where Manufactured info not on package, and when I scanned the QR code, web search said it did not link to anything, so I took off one star. Web site says Origin is USA - if that is so, I'd put it in big letters on the packaging - that was one of the reasons I bought this item. The four stars are for the product, but I hope the company will re-think its package labeling.

I'm big on saving the environment, and if most people knew how much waste there is in plastic drinking straws along, they would cringe. This is a GREAT alternative for using at home and is fairly easy to clean. It takes a little getting used to a metal straw versus a plastic one, but it is well worth it.I also like that I no longer have pucker-face when a fruit chunk goes in the bottom of the straw and the straw collapses in on itself as I try to suck the fruit chunk through it. Silly benefit, but maybe a big deal for some people who do fruit smoothies regularly, like me.The orange peeler was a nice little bonus. I have other orange peelers and this one works just as well as them, I suppose. It didn't sell me on the package, the price did, but it might have tipped the scales in favor of this seller if I didn't already have orange peelers.

These work well as dishwasher-safe reusable smoothie straws. We drink a lot of smoothies and were going through way too many disposable straws. The straws are nice looking, durable and easy to clean.Only two things took us some time to get used to: 1) the straws get very cold when sitting in a smoothie and 2) there is, of course, a slight metallic taste to the straws. Both of those things were a bit odd at first, but we quickly got used to them.

I just started using these, lol, even though I bought them a while back. So far it's just me using 1 staw. I washed it a few times with the brush it came with. So far so good, no scraps or stains, easy to clean and maintain. My husband just told me the other day, using this to drink instead of regular plastic straws has a different vibe to it. I will try to pop it in the dishwasher and see what happens. So far, these are great.

The straws are great. I bought them to replace the plastic ones I used sometimes for smoothies, iced coffee, etc. You have to be careful not to get a metallic taste with your drink by keeping your tongue from touching the metal as you use it. That's not such a big deal though. I'd have no problem recommending them to friends. (I've yet to try out the citrus peeler that came with this as a bonus, so I don't know how it rates)

Great straws. Work as advertised and wide gauge means they are good for thick smoothies & shakes.
