"UNFORTUNATELY", MY FAVORITE PEN. =(
I did what some of you, guys might have done. I tried to find THE best pen out there so I wouldn't ever have to think about which pen to use. I ended up going to websites like the penaddict's, thewirecutter, and several others. And, I ended up testing the following:- Uni-ball Signo DX UM-151 - This definitely this has the crispest line so I can see why people love these. But, they are far too scratchy, like chalk on a chalkboard. Don't get these.- Sakura 30062 Pigma Micron - Drawing pen. These run out FAST so don't get for everyday use.- Pilot G2 - I can also see why people like these but they annoyingly blot sometimes.- Pilot Precise V5- Uni-ball Jetstream- Pilot Hi-tec-cSo, for various reasons, this pen is my favorite. It's unfortunate because I think this pen is so ugly. But, I can't argue that this is a great pen for everyday writing. Minimal effort to write down notes. Corporate 500 companies use these for their offices for a reason.I tried the P-500 (smaller line) but since I have access to both, I realized that I always ended up trying to use the P-700 even though the P-500 has a smaller line so looks cleaner. The reason is that occasionally the P-500 might skip a little when you write really fast or jot something. Save yourself the hassle and get the P-700.*If this review was helpful, please click that it was helpful. (I'd like to know if my reviews help anyone.)

I'll never stop loving you.
This is truly a tremendous pen, the absolute best pen you’ll ever find. I do all my work with this pen. I buy this pen in boxes of 12 because I like to scatter them around the house, a few in each room, because I like knowing that a P-700 is never out of reach. I keep a few at my desk at work, a few in the car, and I make sure my girlfriend’s house has at least two at all times. I like to keep one in the breast pocket of each coat. Often a P-700 shows up in the washing machine as I’m pulling wet clothes out, but you know what? It still works! That’s how good this pen is. At work, I use this pen to take notes during meetings. I find myself taking extraneous notes, jotting down random gibberish phrases, long after the meeting is over—because the pen compels me. It wants me to keep writing, long after I have anything to say. This pen turned me into a compulsive list-maker. I have little post-its around my desk, with endless to-do lists, comprised of tasks I know I will never complete. I have a real fear that one day this pen will go out of production. I hope to god that when that day comes, I am not around to see it. I love you, Pilot P-700, and I’ll never let you go.

Best pen on the market for the money
This is my second order of these pens, and I really like them. I am left handed, and I write like s... These pens have a fairly small signature (not a wide write), and they write on almost anything (unlike your typical ball point pen). They are almost like a fine Sharpie, except the ink flows better, and they just do a better job. I've read other comments, and for, me, smearing has not been a problem, but I can see how you might have a slight problem with the ink smearing on the page, especially if you move over it just as it is written (or very soon afterward). One thing that is a plus for me is the way the pens are made. They have a long cover cap that fits over the writing end. You have to pull this cap off and then turn it the opposite way (so the pen part is down) to write. Some people like the retractable pens; this one isn't. BUT, as long as you put the cap back on, you are never going to accidentally hit the button and have ink leak out all over your pocket in a bad scene. (Am I making sense?)

A fine point pen that writes smoothly pen addicts can now rejoice
I have been after the holy grail of pens my whole life. I want a fine point pen that isn't scratchy (I know I am basically asking for world peace) I originally purchased this pen at my local pharmacy because it was on sale. My intent was to open it test be disappointed and then chuck it. Imagine eyes the size of saucer plates when I realized that these pens have a thin life and glide smoothly across the paper. I tried this pen on regular copy paper, Tomoe River Paper and everything in between and this pen performed beautifully and smoothly. I knew I had to have more and thankfully Amazon did not let me down. The black has a nice crisp line and I think I may also pick up a pack of the blue ones. I have hidden this gem because I am not sharing. If you like fine point pens or pens that write smoothly this pen is for you.

It's crazy to love an ink pen as much as I do this one!!
I LOVE these pens so much I'm writing a review and I never write reviews. I love these pens so much that given the choice of using another pen that is available or having to walk to another room and find my favorite Pilot pen .. I will pick the Pilot pen every time. My co-workers used to laugh at me,until they too got hooked on the Pilot, now we all scrabble over stolen pens. I am a notary and have to fill in tiny lines.. These pens were made for this! The only complaint I have, is if you forget to put the cap back on and leave it out overnight you have about a 50/50 chance that it might dry out so bad you can't get it back in service. I will never stop using these pens!

Great Pen for Dark Ink Lovers
My parents got me into really nice pens and pencils, and this was one of my favorites that I'd take from my dad's pen drawer. The grip is very comfortable, and the ease that the pen rolls along the paper is amazing. The ink is very dark - which is amazing (to me) but can also cause some distress to people who like to write on both sides of a notebook paper because the ink is visible on the other side. However, I enjoy very dark ink, so it poses no problem for me. I'd also like to emphasize on keeping the pens capped. Do not start using many at a time, because they WILL dry up, and it is very difficult to get it going again once its been dried. I usually just take out one at a time and replace it once I've used it up or I've lost it.
