Earthworm Drain Cleaner, 32 FZ

Love this stuff, been using it for years. I won’t use the toxic chemical stuff; it’s too dangerous to the people who inevitably have to be called to work on your plumbing at some point, and there’s no need when there are safe products that work as advertised. It does take a few days to work. Wait until everyone has gone to bed and the sink won’t be used for a good stretch of hours, then pour some of this stuff down. Repeat for a few nights. On the second and/or third morning you can help things along by doing some plunging, but by the end of the week your slow drains are a thing of the past. This even works on the 50 year old plumbing where we live where we can’t even pull the hair trap out. And it’s non-toxic. Thumbs up.

I purchased the item yesterday because my kitchen sink had standing water (I dont have a disposal)so I am very careful about making sure nothing gets down the drain. This morning the water was still there and I even tried hot water to see if it would open it up to drain out, which didnt work at all. I tried again this morning and now luck so I removed all but a smidge of water and poured more into the drain now that I could directly and it just sat there(waited 30 mins) and nothing happened. So I will be going back to my old trusty Draino because this product didnt work and a waste of money.

This is a great product! I always have a bottle in my cabinet. I have a subscription for a large bottle for the outside drain and keep a smaller one to use in the tiny bathroom downstairs. I have a very old house with old plumbing that occasionally needs to be unclogged. This takes only minutes to work. Maybe someone with a very sensitive nose might notice a whiff, but nothing has bothered me.

Unfortunately, this did not work at all. I had to purchase the usual chemical drain unclogger.

Good but not a silver bullet

My husband ordered this product for our kitchen sink that tends towards funk every so often. Those enzymes were hard at work last night. This morning I shone a bright light through the sink drain and when I peeked below… the white pvc pipe that was dark with build-up inside was all but new! The strong smell of sewage (for lack of better word) is gone. The product has a more mild and pleasant sent than most and it doesn’t seem to linger (our windows are open). I’ll vote it’s a handy product to keep around.

I use it for the blast smell that periodically comes up from the bathroom sink (all-new plumbing...) You may have to use the entire bottle in one week depending on your situation. It works at controlling and potentially eliminating that smell. It is a great all-natural alternative to all the toxic products currently on the market.

Such a nice option for sink maintenance as nice. Just follow instructions… been using for years.
