2019, trying to be up to date, but lacking
Goes on and on about the hay market bombing, has a tiny paragraph about Tulsa Black Wall Street burning down. Seems to try to take a progressive shift while also still stating in passing that it was authorities empowered by the govt who enacted these massive atrocities on citizens. Literally the next page makes a huge deal about a bombing at the New York stock exchange, using the quantifying words “terrorist explosion,” saying nothing like that would be seen again until the OKC bombing in the 90s, even though only 40 people died in the NYC exchange bombing, compared to the 300 Black citizens of Tulsa left dead, and 10,000 left homeless. Big deal to barely be including that. There’s a lot of places in this book that after reading a part, I am stopped immediately with the question of why this isn’t more important than some ramblings on the character of Woodrow Wilson.

Woke textbook
This textbook is full of liberal lies and wokeness.

No page numbers
I am giving a poor rating because there are no page numbers for the Kindle version. Instead, it has a "Location" which jumps up between 4 and 9 numbers as you flip a page. Pretty annoying because my Professor assigns certain pages to read and I have a hell of a time trying to figure out where I need to go to. If you need to get this for school, do not get the Kindle Edition.
