Excellent pool vacuum hose. Connects quickly and easily to a pool filter via a wall port. Is thick and quality built to with stand objects that could poke the hose. It’s long enough to easily reach a pool with a 15 foot diameter. It was pretty cost effective, reasonable compared to other distributers.

Unlike some other hose hanging around my neighborhood, this one is clean. Hooking it up is easy. These hose could suck start a Harley. Solid and long, worth the money, did I mention the sucking? Soooo good. Makes short work of the load in the pool. These hose leave you with no regret. Your wife won’t mind either. In fact, mine tends to encourage swift and thorough use of these hose....and to top it off, they can take a beating like a champ.

This hose was ordered as a replacement for a similar hose from a different manufacture. The reason, the hose from the other kept splitting at the seams during use, but this hose worked without ANY splits! It is tough and looks good, a perfect upgrade to any of the pool supplied hoses that need replaced. Amazon sells replacement hose ends that let you cut the hose and screw on new ends, but don't forget, you MUST use a sealant when doing that.

So far so good. I was skeptical because of some of the negative reviews but it seems fine; great actually. Seems well made. I only have a 16’ above ground pool with a decent not the most powerful sand filter and pump. When I first plugged in I thought there was a leak, but all I had to do was SLOWLY get all the air out of the hose by intermittently closing other side of suction hole. This eased the air out of the hose without stalling the pump. I also used the “circulate” mode as it seemed to help get the air out faster without stalling pump. Then put back on “filter” as soon as air was out. I Then closed the other hole and vacuumed away! Only time will tell on durability..

I purchased this 18 ft hose to fit the Hydrotools half moon weighted sweep along with a disc adaptor for inside the skimmer for a 10 foot Summer Waves pool. Connect swivel end to sweep, lower the hose to fill fully with the pool water, then connect the other end to the skimmer adaptor, turn on the pump, flush out any air bubbles from pump and start sweeping. Very happy with this set up. To save my filter, I use a skimmer sock to catch the dirty stuff as it goes past the skimmer area, perfect. Hose off the sock later and reuse. I did have to dremmel the skimmer disc about 1/4 inch around the edge to fit my basket for best fit. The hose is durable, curls slightly as I push the sweep around but does not get in the way. I would not use with an auto sweep as it would probably get wound up on itself if not supervised. It has a memory and has to be rewound a certain way to be stored. I hang it on the porch out of the sun with a bungee cord between uses.

Product Good Late Delivery Definitely Would Not Buy From This Company Again

I went all-in on these hoses, I bought five for various areas in my front and back yards after figuring that the first one worked well enough. It didn’t take long for me to discover that I didn’t, in fact, love them mostly because of just how dramatically they shrink and expand depending on if the spout is open or closed, or even whether or not you are actively using the sprayers they come with. With that said, the big disappointment was realizing that one of them had inexplicably sprung a tiny leak that sprays out a constant thin stream of water that makes it totally impractical to keep them attached to a spout that is always open, and only use them when the sprayer is engaged. I was really astounded at how completely non-durable they ended up being right away, and I have no explanation for what could have created the puncture. In the future, I will be staying away from these nylon-type expanding hoses, and instead going with a good old-fashioned, standard rubber/vinyl variety.
