The color and size are true to the combination I ordered. Easy to put together. For the most part one person can assemble until you need to attach the bench/ bed section to the frame, definitely recommend two people for that part. The mattress is comfortable but sturdy. Make sure you find the label on the mattress that tells you the correct side to place down on the bench/ seat portion because of the way the mattress is hinged to fit for the seating position. I recommend this because the hinge is offset (not in the middle of the mattress), at least for the queen size that is. It will be stiff at first when fitting the mattress properly in the seating position on the futon frame, but once you know where it hinges you can work it on the futon.

I was able to assemble this by myself, except when installing the deck and placing the mattress (queen is very heavy). It's a must to have help loading the rack and a heavy mattress. I purchased a queen size with a dark frame and gray cover - it is beautiful! The mattress is very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a sturdy and attractive futon.

Very comfortable as a queen sized bed as well as in the sofa position. I didn’t think I’d ever purchase another futon after the 1980s. The sofa sleepers we liked we just too expensive for what we needed this for. We keep this in our office for our son to sleep on when he comes home from college. Easy to put together, it took my husband and I an hour or so. The boxes are very large and very heavy.

So, I thought the directions and putting it together were rather simple. I did go through and make sure all the parts and hardware were there and that nothing was damaged before attempting the build. They even included some spare hardware. I put it together in two separate days for a total of probably 2 hours at most. I was able to build it all by myself until I got to the part of placing the seat/back portion into the frame, which required 2 people. It seems like it is a well-constructed futon, but we shall see. It is for my son's gaming area, so he and his friends will be utilizing it. It will also be used for sleeping purposes when his friends stay over. I will try to do an update in a month or so to see how it is holding up to a teenage boy and his friends.

I love this, the mattresses is very comfortable and the whole assembly feels solidWe needed a sleeper sofa for our guest room but found out that we were going to pay double the price of this one, and even get a 3-4 in mattress, so this option is cheaper and way better!I honestly do not know why would anyone buy anything else than this.

This futon is super nice! Our recent guest is 6’7” and he slept comfortably. With the assembly, the only problem is there were two Js, which made the assembly process more difficult. The frame is sturdy and the mattress is comfortable.

This is a very well made futon looks great too bought it for my very tall 17 yr old 6'2 and their is plenty of room and the mattress is pretty thick and firm great buy!

It is exactly what is shown in the pictures. Very heavy so it is durable and sturdy as a concrete block. Now to comfort, obviously is not related to concrete block at all, it is a very comfortable firm mattress made of swede. The indent of the futon when it is up right is actually moreComfortable to sleep in then lowering the hole couch to bed. Great piece of furniture at a great price
