Super easy melting furnace
This is a fantastic little furnace to melt metal with! While it doesn’t hold a large amount of metal, it would be perfect for those that make jewelry and do small castings. It does take a little time to heat up especially if you’re melting copper or a higher temp metal but its quiet and you don’t have to deal with propane. A simple 110v outlet will work perfectly. It easily portable and comes with literally all the tools you need. If anyone wants to watch my full review, just visit my YouTube channel (ArtByAdrock).

Amazing customer service!
I had a problem, mostly because I am new to using a furnace and crucible. I pretty much broke it, and expected either no response, or not covered by warranty. I was wrong. The customer service response was fast, friendly and extremely helpful. They sent me a new part right away. Other than my personal ignorance, this furnace has been great. Well built, easy to use, and does exactly what it is supposed to. If you are looking for small quantities - up to 3 kg - this is the product. I am very happy with this purchase and the company!

Finally! A way to melt metals that works well
I tried two propane furnaces to melt primarily brass. I was never able to get the propane furnaces up to the heat level I needed (about 1000 degrees C.). I plug this into my generator. I take about 45 minutes to get to the temperature I want. I have used it six times and had no issues. The two different crucibles are handy. I have learned a lot about melting brass and this furnace has, so far, worked flawlessly. I read the reviews before buying this, and some had indicated issues of concern. However, as noted, no problems yet.

Great customer service!
Update: The seller reached out after I left a review and has been amazing to work with. Not only did they send a new part to replace the broken ceramic, they also sent us a new propane furnace at no charge. I originally gave only 1 star for the problem I was having with the furnace but have since changed to 5 stars for awesome customer service. The new furnace is working great, no issues at all. We are very happy customers both with the products and customer service.Original Review: Ceramic cracked after second use. We were within the return window so we replaced it with a new one. Set it in the basement because we didn’t have time to use it, got the new one out use and after second use the ceramic cracked again. Unfortunately I am past the return window by one week. I am stuck with an expensive paperweight.

Great furnace for the money
Fantastic for melting scrap silver and other base metals in small batches. The mold included in the kit is too small if you're planning on filling the crucibles with more than a teaspoons worth of metal.

Simple! It works! Yes, it melts COPPER!
Unit is easy to use. The temperature setting is intuitive, so if you read the instructions once, you can do it every time. I saw some reviews saying this will not melt copper. NOT TRUE! I set temp for 1100°C and the copper poured into the mold like water! Worth every penny! So pleased with the purchase!

Perfect for melting old jewelery down into bars
This little furnace is a great package with everything you need to get started, including gloves, tongs, two crucibles and a carbon mold. Getting started was as simple as plugging it in and setting your desired temperature. The internal thermostat is perfect to monitor temperature. I was able to get to 1100c in just over 20min. It took another 15-20 min to melt 4 aluminum cans, cut into small slices. The curved tongs are great for picking up the crucible pouring and pouring into the forms. After this first melt I would say this is a well constructed unit with everything you need to get started. As described in the product description, this furnace is perfect for home projects to make small metal objects like jewelry. The maximum temperature of this unit is 1150c which should be good for most projects. Don't forget to use this in a well ventilated area.

Wearing over time
The ceramic flange cracks over time and the paint crumbles and vaporizes off on the lid and the paint gets darker on the body. The crucible over time will get thinner and there will be graphite powder inside the furnace. Overall it's a good furnace. Easy to use and melts copper no problem. I recommend it to beginners out there.

Crucible exploded in my face
The instructions tell you to warm a new crucible at 300-500C for 10m. That seems like a minimum so I set at 300 for 10m, then 400 for 10, then 500, 600.. all the way up to 1100C for melting copper, which is what I want it for. I started melting copper and then opened it up to stir, and the top of the crucible violently exploded like a shotgun, sending shrapnel and molten copper in a 20ft radius. It burned holes in my head, hand, chairs and embedded small bits of copper in my safety glasses. WTF happened!? Is this thing safe to use? I will have to wait until tomorrow to see if anything is salvageable. Wear your PPE!!
