Caddis

I know all of you Simms/Orvis fashion show participants will be upset with me, but alas......Care, I do not.You can spend $20 for these Caddis wading socks or $45 for Simms. Since I own both I am will tell you that these are just as good, if not better than the Simms. I have ordered a total of 3 sets of these. These are great.

The boot lace eyelet broke the first test fit, grommet came out of neoprene. They were useable still, I wore them in a cold freestone stream and I stayed warm. Your feet get soaked and then your body heat warms up the water in your sock. Then it feels like you are wading in warm jell-o, or if you are from farm country it's like having your foot in a fresh cow patty. Honestly they worked but the only reason to get them is so you can wear your wading boot for ankle support and grip. Old sneakers would be just as good otherwise.

So I tried these out yesterday with my new Korkers and they work well. I wear a size 9- 9 1/2 shoe and the mediums fit perfectly. By perfectly I mean tight. They are supposed to be tight to work well in the water and they do.Great value in a good product. If you need some good quality gravel guards but you don't want to spend the Orvis price these are for you.Edit: Changed rating to two stars. The hook that keeps the bootie attached to the boot broke after three uses.

The hooks for wading shoe laces are not reinforced properly. They pulled off on first use. Other manufacturers use a different reinforcing method. The M size were difficult to pull on and off foot, even in socks. I am a 10.5 shoe. Size L fit better.

Just wanted make a note on sizing. I wear a size 11 shoe and the large size wading sock is a perfect fit. Haven't gotten them wet yet, but they are exactly as I expected in appearance, fit and quality. Just what I wanted.

I wear a size 12 shoe and the XL size of these neoprene booties fit me perfectly ... can't speak to their durability yet, but I'll be buying a 2nd pair if these hold up through the end of the wet wading season in October ...

work great for wet wading. Just know that these do not prevent water from entering, they are simply to help keep your feet warmer in cold water! Good product for those days when you dont want to wear waders but still want to get in the river.

This was my first time experiencing wet wading and I may never go back to waders in the summer. I paired these socks with some wading boots and have never been more comfortable walking in mountain rivers.

As describe. Well made, fits perfectly. I wear an 8.5 shoe and size 10 Simms Vaportread boots, ordered the medium - NO issues with fitment. Excellent product for the price.
