If you are looking for a touchscreen gaming laptop this is the best price to performance in 2021
If you are in a hurry, I will simply repeat the title: "If you are looking for a touchscreen gaming laptop". If you are still here then strap in for a long review.Dual screen: if you intend to use the two screens simultaneously while gaming. Keep in mind that the mouse cursor sometimes gets stuck in the smaller display. Touch which ever screen you want the cursor to appear. Also the 4k screen affects your performance in some games. So you might have to use medium to low settings to get better fps. That being said even on low settings any game looks good ona 4k screen.Keyboard and Touchpad: I use a mouse a lot so I got used to the position of the touchpad very quickly. As an added bonus I get a better typing experience because I don't need to worry about palm rejection or dead zones. The touchpad is simply out of the way.Weight and battery life: this laptop is very heavy and it consumes a lot of power. This is because it has a powerful graphics card in a small formfactor also it has 2 screens that consume a lot of power as well. Pair that with an i7 CPU and you have a laptop that runs hot. The good news is it doesn't affect performance and it seems all the heat comes from the exhaust fans. Point being just use it on a table not on your lap. Conclusion: this is a step in the right direction. I have always wanted a laptop that can game and do creative work as well. If you are not willing to spend $ 2000 and about. You can get touchscreen gaming laptops with 1000 series graphics cards for $1000 and above. If you have deep pockets, you can buy the concepts 7 easel or the Asus pro duo. As for me this is worth every penny for now.

Practical
Getting 2nd zenbook , 1st one network adaptor fail, never had that happen so probably a fluke. Love the duel screen. Would have given 5 stars but the 2nd screen is not set at a perfect angle

its useful, its got great specs but...
Some of us just want to have a second screen on our computer. The touch screen controls get in the way very oftenwhy the hell is the second screen set at 4k, hell why have 4k on a laptop AT ALL? If you work in any digital industry you zoom in. 4k only works on the big screen.why does the main screen have touch if you are NEVER GOING TO USE IThonestly the only reason I have this is because I'm a VSFX artist. The second screen is great for asset browsers or other windows for various programs.great for me! but probably no one elsethe screen also doesnt function without the asus program. You cant, for some reason, disconnect it from the software and attempt to use it as a normal second long screen.Overall though, this competes with some towers at my school with its 2070. I wouldnt use it as my main renderer but it is wonderfully useful for taking my work on the go.

Great Laptop
Built tough, feels heavy duty with the metal casing. 4k quality of the screen is great. The 2nd display is great as well but there is a matte finish on it, so color and quality doesn't pop as much. Laptop is powerful so battery life isn't the best if it's on performance mode. With battery saver mode, you looking at 3 - 4 hours battery life.

Never worked right - No ports worked after 1 year - Very poor warranty and support
Do not rely on reviews of people who have not owned for at least 1 year. I have used ASUS products for 10+ years, always been extremely happy until last few purchases. Returned the first laptop received of this model, should have returned the 2nd. Owned for 3 years, used for barely 1 year because all of the ports stopped working, the number pad never worked right, called support dozens of time - only one person knew how to fix the number pad. For warranty work, they want you to send it in for MONTHS as if you do not need it (when I owned for less than 1 month). When I sent it in because none of the ports were working after barely 1 year, they wanted the price of a new laptop to fix it. Worst computer purchase ever made, Asus support personnel were woefully ignorant (mostly because they don't LISTEN, they are trying to get you off the phone instead of fixing your problem), and to not fix an insanely expensive computer that is basically useless after 1 year for a decent price make ASUS an undependable and unreliable manufacturer of technology products. Do not buy this computer unless you want to replace quickly. From a former diehard fan of ASUS.

2 years later, still love this laptop!
I needed a replacement for a desktop, so I could work from bed/chair. I have not been disappointed yet by this laptop. I love the dual display and that they are both touch screen! This is very handy when drawing out my designs for artwork. I don't need anything other than my imagination and my finger to put my ideas to the digital canvas.
