Absolutely
A unique, piercing ring that wows. What I mean is that after striking the tab, the volume keeps increasing for about two seconds, then sustains for another ten. A literal bell curve of sound. Thick brass and solid anchor really makes it ring. Pun intended. After many years of urban MTB commute, this is the first bike bell/horn that I can actually stand.

Excellent bell
This is a wonderful bicycle bell. It works perfectly every time. It never needs adjustment. It is easy to operate and has a great sound. The sound can be very loud or just a gentle ring. I had another bell of this type that they sell on Amazon, but this one is far superior.

An Excellent Small Bell With Decent Volume
This is a great bell--and an excellent value here on amazon. I purchased two of them (one for my wife and one for myself). It has a small footprint, however it produces excellent (pleasant) sound with great volume. It is constructed of high quality materials and fit both of our bicycle's handlebars just fine--this even though one bicycle had 21.5 mm handlebars and the other 22.5 mm handlebars. The included rubber inserts (two thin ones, and two thick ones) allows this bell to fit a wide range handlebar thicknesses. Oh, and a nice little Allen wrench is also included. One can actually reduce the volume simply by not pressing down so far on the thumb trigger. We use this method on quieter smooth/nicely paved bicycle paths. If we need a louder volume, i.e., for those walkers/riders using earbuds, etc., we simply press the thumb trigger all the way down and then release it, thus causing the same pleasant ringing, albeit being much louder. There are a few comments by people saying this bell is difficult to install. Nonsense! It literally take less than five minutes! Do yourself a favor and purchase this bell. You will not be disappointed.

Love it
The bell itself is slightly small however the quality, tone and volume is superb. Adaptable to different thicknesses of handle bars.

Good and loud to be heard on a busy trail , gets the job done
Best bell Ive had yet.Solid build, easy install using the supplied hex wrench and both of the supplied silicone bushing's for a tight, scratch free fit on the my handle bar.I get 2-3 good clear loud rings to signal my approach on the flat Polly Ann rail trail in Oakland County ,Mi.

Revised Review: Clear as a Bell, but secure a bit of cloth or leather to the actuator.
This bell has a nice, piercing, loud, distinctive ring. It is perfect for two lane trails shared by bicyclists, pedestrians, runners, families with strollers, etc. This bell is very effective at warning people ahead that a cyclist is approaching, and they instantly move or stay in their lane so the cyclist can pass unseen on their left. The clapper is spring loaded requiring the cyclist to allow the lever to snap at the bell. However, under constant ringing, this can potentilly cause irritation to the bellringer's thumb. Thus the reason for only 4 stars instead of 5.The clapper must "snap" in order for the bell to ring.I would suggest gloves covering the thumb in winter, and otherwise practicing a technique whereby the thumbnail does most of the interaction with the spring mechanism. One could probably also wear some sort of protective bandaide or other covering on the thumb. The user will have to decide what is best for their circumstances. There are other bells easier to ring, but this one is very loud and distinctive, and for me, worth the inconvenience of learning the "thumbnail technique."UPDATE TO MY INITIAL REVIEWI love this bell, and I would definitely buy it again. PLEASE NOTE: I added a modification that I would like to share.Using Wedgewood Contact Cement, I attached a strip of tough polyester fabric to the metalic ringer mechanism. This tough but soft fabric protects the thumb from chaffing when ringing the bell (Please see photo). I suggest that a small strip of soft leather would work just as well and perhaps be even more durable. With this easy improvement, I can now raise my rating from 4 to 5 stars.

Pros and Cons
PROS:- All metal construction (including handlebar clamp), so it won't break.- Comes with two sizes of handlebar clamps and two foam inserts (one thick, one thin) to ensure a good fit with just about any handlebar. Foam inserts also protect the handlebar from being scratched by the metal clamp.- Nice, loud ring, the loudness of which can be varied by how far back you pull the striker before releasing it.- Adjustable distance between striker and bell to allow for lighter strikes (and slightly quieter ring, if preferred).CONS - The striker lever is bare metal with a rather coarse edge, which causes your thumb pad to feel a little raw and sore after just a few uses. Mitigated by using your thumbnail or inner part of the knuckle to pull the striker back. Would have been much better with a silicone cover or other similar soft/cushioned cover.- Screw for tightening the clamp must be screwed in from the bottom. This makes installation more difficult than it has to be and results in the stem of the screw sticking straight up through the clamp. Would have been better to have the clamp screwed tight from the top, making installation easier and resulting in a nice, flush screw head visible with the screw stem nearly invisible. It's a decent bell, but, if I had to do it all over again, I would probably go with one that was easier on the thumbs.

Nice little bell
Visually appealing, quality construction. My only two gripes is that the spring could be about 10% firmer, not a big deal though and the sound pitch could be just a tad lower, also not a big deal. Very nice Bell

Nice tone
Actually used this on the trails today and it is clear and effective. Solid all round and all metal. It comes with two sizes of rings, but I just needed the smaller one the bell was already attached to. There are also two width of rubber buffering that you can use to help keep the ring from slipping. All in all a nice purchase.

Great value for a high quality bell!
I was surprised by the high quality of this bell. All metal construction but it's the same price as most plastic bells ($7.50 ea on prime day). It complements my $3000 ebike vs making it look cheap. Definitely recommend.
