I was a little skeptical at first cause I have never used this at the Dominican salons in NY but hunteeee this stuff is fabulous! Since I moved to LA there ARE no Dominican hair salons and my hair starting breaking and just would not grow back or look healthy. So I changed my regimen.Tried the Apretadora before my shampoo then used Silcon Mix as a deep conditioner sat under the under for 30 minutes then rinses w a regular conditioner. My hair texture already started to change and felt softer silkier and shinier.Apretatora is green and smells like roach spray LOL but don’t let that deter you after the second use it will not bother you. Use a good shampoo and you will be fine plus the silicon mix conditioner smells bomb! I use a light weight leave in conditioner Alterna Bamboo dry mist or Aphogee green tea leave in.So two thumbs up! Everyone’ hair is different and this works for me. I roller set and blow the roots of my hair then use a tiny bit of serum and wrap my hair in a doobie while I sleep (no pins, will leave marks). I don’t flat iron my hair daily or use heat. The roller set and root blow out is all I need until my next wash and set!Oh Apretadora will leave your hair feeling a little dry after you shampoo it out that’s why it is IMPERATIVE you use a deep conditioner after you shampoo. After my first use my hair wasn’t breaking but you have to be strict with your hair regimen! I am Chinese Jamaican and my hair texture is not course but it curls and gets frizzy if I don’t Manage it

I’ve been using this prepoo since may and its a really nice prepoo. You can use it on dirty hair before shampooing and its good for your scalp and overall health of ur hair. I always apply it on damp hair and it makes my hair instantly softer and easier to detangle. I originally got this product while I was in the dominican republic and its so much cheaper out there (like $6). I would recommend buying it if you’re ever out in the DR or u can find it cheaper on other websites or maybe in new york where they sell more dominican products; its just convenient to get it from amazon due to fast shipping bc i just ran out, but if u have the time to wait for it to come in the mail then buy it else where! It should never cost 15-17 dollars imo.

i decided to give this a go after hearing rave reviews about it on bhm. hell no do not trust this i put it in my hair and followed the directions to the letter and my hair was actually falling out, im not even lying it was breaking really badly and when i blow dried it it was even worse. so i had to buy some nexxus emergencee the next day and guess what no breakage at all afterwards, not even a hair in the comb. if you want good products just spend the money on it you won't be dissapointed

I have been using this product for just a month every week from receiving it. I do like how it tingles for me on my scalp. It kind of feels the same way your mouth feels after rinsing with mouth wash. I really didn't like that it doesn't come with a seal on the top of the container. It was wrapped good but how do I know if this product is the real deal. It wasn't watery and still had a thick consistency, but I felt like I was taking a chance using it. My hair isn't falling out, so so far so good. I'm trying to grow my hair out so let's see if this helps.
