HVAC Equations, Data, and Rules of Thumb, Third Edition

This is a pretty handy reference book for field work. It has a little more than 20 pages of equations, and the rest is generally data, and ballpark "rules of thumb." If you own ASHRAE books, it covers most of everything that's in here. If you dont, it's a less expensive alternative for those books, which seems to be the idea behind it. I think it's a little overpriced, but it's definitely useful. I'm glad I purchased it.Very useful if you're in the HVAC world as either an installer, or even a field tech. If you're a mechanical engineer, you probably already have this material in other books.

Very applicable for an HVAC mechanical engineer who has a couple years' experience in the industry doing design. A very good book. I read it cover to cover. Edition: Kindle.

some chapters are download only. I did not realize that until I received the book. It only a few and they are advertised as bonus, but still.

I read this to fall asleep to every night.I'm three months in and have made it tot the second page.

Lots of information for Engineers in this book. Codes listed, rules of thumb, and more.

Book is ok, has some descent basic information. Is not as comprehensive as i though tit would be. Still a descent reference book to have on hand.

Handy reference to have on the shelf. I would recommend it to HVAC Engineers and designers.
