reviews but purchased anyway - VERY glad I did
I read the questionable. reviews but purchased anyway - VERY glad I did.We have a small evergreen tree that has some ice storm damage from last year. One portion never came back green - just dead brown. It worked wonderfully to hide the brown. It has rained, hard, several times since I applied it about 3 weeks ago. It has not faded or washed off. I have not tried it on any grass, but I can tell you, for browned shrubbery, it works great. I do recommend wearing some work gloves or plastic gloves when applying as it will stain your skin if it gets on it - like any dye would. It is definitely a dye too - it is not a paint. It penetrates like dye should.I assume I will need to reapply annually or semi annually and will be purchasing more for the future. Is it "magic"? No. Bu....t does it work as well as anybody can expect and improve the look of dead brown shrubbery/evergreens? ABSOLUTELY YES!!!!!!

It Worked For Me
Having read the other comments about the product, I was not surprised about it dripping all over my gloves. However, my use of it on the one evergreen shrub in front of my house--it NOW looks very nice. It took about 50% of the product to make the bush look natural, so the product does not go very far. I used a little of it on the other twin shrub so that they would look alike and it does. No one would know that the one bush had a lot of winter damage from last winter. I would use this again, but the greater story will be what it looks like a year from now.

Good Cover But Too Dark
I like this product for blending dried plants or grass that is not a part of a huge lawn. If you were to touch up spots on your lawn, you would have to do the entire lawn to match, otherwise it would be very obvious. The only time you might get away with spot touch ups to a large lawn is if the lawn was very healthy and dark green. It does have good cover ability and the color stays very well. The directions say it will last about 3 months and may need an occassional repeat application. If you water your treated area frequently, you will probably want to reapply a little to keep it looking its best. Basically a good product. I would recommend it if you are desperate for a nice looking lawn. For a large surface area, I would suggest buying a professional sprayer and lots of the product for the best look.

Aim carefully and don't overspray
Works as advertised but use carefully! You just need a little bit and if you overspray it will not look like a natural green. I thought it odd that the directions say to use it with the nozzle only in "mist" mode, but when it arrived it was set to "stream" mode. So my first spray was a bad one because I didn't check this first. I would have thought they could work this out somehow with the nozzle manufacturers, to eliminate the "stream" option if it weren't needed for the product. I used it a few times to hide burned grass spots while I wait 6 weeks for the grass patch to grow in. I don't have to use it at all as long as I follow the dog with a water bucket and water the area right away after she urinates.

Great fix for brown shrubs!!!
Wow! Holds up through rain and wind. Our shrubs took a beating this past winter but still had new growth. We felt bad because we planted a row of 20 between our field and the neighbors and they were mainly brown. I bought this to see if it would mask the brown until the branches grew out and it worked! I also used it for a large spiral shrub beside my front porch and it looks awesome as well. I applied at the start of spring and they are still deep green to this day. Amazing! Saved me hundreds in replacement costs! Oh and used once or twice for yellow spots on grass from dogs. Great stuff, just be sure to wear gloves and protective clothing.

NO MORE BROWN !!!
So far have tried this on my brown damaged bushes. It does go on a little fluorescent at first butdoes dry to a nicer green color. The color is a bit artificial looking but it's better than the ugly brownthat this winter left our greenery in. I'll be interested to see how long it lasts with rain, etc. at $15.00bucks a bottle I hope it lasts for quite a while !!!

Grass and Bush Repair
It was very helpful as compared to the tan look along my walkway because of the winter ice melt. When I first put it down I was disapointed because of the green color that wasn't close to my grass green color. However, since that time it has blended in better with my grass color after a period of time with rain, etc. and I don't regret having used it and would do it again. Regardless of the color difference it is better than tan spots. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to express my views about the product.

Easy to use, instant results
Dropped one star b/c was not a great match for our lawn but it worked reasonably well and got the HOA off our back until our lawn could recover from a hot/dry spell
