The media could not be loaded.  I ordered a set of these lights to go around the ceiling of my living room for Christmas. The reviews were great, and I like the way that you can do anything with these lights (colour and brightness) and that they come with a remote control too.When they arrived, I took them out of the box and plugged them in. They were amazing and so bright you couldn't even look directly at them!I spent a little while putting Command hooks up around my living room and then opened the lights up properly while I waited for the hooks to stick. I plugged the lights in and switched them on and they were very very VERY dim - almost completely off. They didn't light up properly at all and fter trying all different things with the remote and the plug, I couldn't figure out why? I left them plugged in and went over every bulb bit by bit and then found one of the wires had disconnected from one of the bulbs, as the white plastic (heat shrink) cover was missing on the bulb. My husband and I managed to get the wire to attach again, by stripping back the sheath a bit and wrapping it around the prong leg of the bulb, and then we covered it in black electrical tape to hold it together and in place, as well as protecting us from the bare live electrics. The lights now worked properly.I contacted Ollny straight away through Amazon, as I wasn't sure what to do and thought I had better let them know that this had happened, incase anyone else had the same issue.Ollny got back to me within 24hrs and were very apologetic, and offered me a replacement set, while allowing me to keep the current set. A new set was delivered to me within 2 days, all fully working, and no missing covers. The only thing the second set was missing, is the black screw cover thing for if I wanted to join the 2 sets together - which I don't, and won't be doing - so it's not a problem for me at all.Overall, these lights are absolutely fantastic and I love them! They have 11 different settings, including 4 colour settings (warm white, multi, a slightly more pale multi, and then a very pale almost pastel multi), and three dimmer settings, as well as a timer function which I haven't used yet, as we only put them on when we are at home in the evenings and turn them off when we go to bed.The customer service from Ollny was faultless, in that they replied to messages swiftly, (within 12-24hrs), and offered a replacement without hesitation. I would happily purchase from them again in the future. Brilliant service and product. Thank you 😊

Bought two sets of these at the same time, and i'm really glad I did.The Instruction manual is very detailed and has a great easy to follow format . One of the best I've seen for this type of item.These lights have many functions and various brightness settings which can either be controlled via the excellent little remote or via the press switch on the power plug.There is a timer program option, but I opted just to use a timer plug.I haven't added any pictures of the lights as a photo wouldn't really do them justice, but they have a lovely array of different colours which I would think most people would be pleased with.Very pleased with this purchase. A really nice set of lights with a very well thought out Instruction manual.

Not used outside, only used indoors on the Christmas tree but there’s plenty of length to go around my 7ft tree, bright enough, quality seems good and plenty of different patterns (modes)

Would recommend. Nice and bright with lots of different modes.The timer doesn't always seem to work but that might be operator error on our part.

Great value lights!

Thrilled with these lights! The colour options are stunning. The full colour setting is bright and vibrant. The white is warm and classic. I specifically bought these for the muted colour option to compliment my pastel tree and I couldn’t be happier: delicate colours which give a pretty alternative to my normal white.You can get cheaper lights but the versatility of the colour options make these 3 sets in one. I like to change the look of my tree each year and these are so much easier than storing lots of different sets of lights. The clear wire also means I can use them with any colour tree.The remote is very good with timers and easy numbered options - no more clicking through every setting til you find your favourite. The ability to dim the lights is fabulous as I often fine LEDs too bright. If you’re settling down to watch a movie it’s nice to have a subtle twinkle and the full option is glorious.Best still, when the lights are turned back on they remember the last setting. Can’t recommend these highly enough!

I didn't expect to like these as much as I did. They're very vibrant, and the dimmer settings are great. We couldn't decide on a colour (I wanted multicoloured, partner wanted white/yellow) so this was a great find. Remote control works fine if the plug is on show. Easy to store away after Christmas, and don't seem to get as tangled. Look lovely on the tree too.

I love these lights. I went through all the buttons on the very handy remote and one of the modes, I can't remember which, reminds me of being at a rave. On the remote you can also choose to set the brightness. Since I love twinkling lights, I have them set very brightly, mixed colours. You have a choice of warm white, bright colours and colours that I describe as pastel colours. These lights have a timer and being a bit ditzy I forgot I'd put it on to commence every 6 hours and one day came home from work to find it winking away. You must remember to press the Timer Off button. There is a red light on the wire to show the timer is on. Of course I didn't notice that at the time. I've used mine on the Christmas tree and to be honest I'm loathe to put them away once it's time to pack up the decorations. So I may put them up in my bedroom. I can't remember if you get a spare battery for the remote, I think you do. Anyway I highly recommend these lights. Also they were very good value for money.
