Tandy Leather Eco-Flo Leather Dye 4.4 fl. oz. (132 ml) Canyon Tan 2600-06

I used this dye on a western holster project. My first. Wanted a dye that was light enough but could darken leather as well. This canyon tan was perfect for me.

Way more red than I thought it would be. Used natural thick veg-tanned leather and wow wow wow is it red. i "burnt" in the edges with some medium brown and buffalo brown and it has a unique canyon-look that looks alright, but just be aware of the red hue. Otherwise, it works about as well as any water-based dye works. You'll need 2-3 coats of the same dye to get a consistent look, so you're really stuck with the red unless you pre-mix it with some medium brown or something before doing all three coats. You can't really switch colors between coats.

Dye works well, but container leaks if not upright.
