Good replacement for rechargeable batteries
I got this because of physical difficulties in replacing the batteries (using rechargeables so cost was not an issue). The description said it could be used with my model, an A&D Lifesource ESSENTIAL (model UA-651CNBLE) and it's part number matches what the BP monitor's manual recommends. it works without issue, and without concern about dodgy reading towards the end of battery life. The cord is long enough to reach behind the reading chair but not quite to the AC outlet, so I had to use a power bar (not a big deal because other devices get plugged in and it is surge protected). The body extends sideways from the plug and is narrow so it doesn't block other outlets on the power bar.It's ironic that I got the battery power BP monitor for the freedom to use it wherever I wanted but ended up with a power cord to free myself from frequent battery changes. Such is life. I'm just really glad the option was provided, and by the manufacturer, at that.
