This album is without a doubt a masterpiece. The deathcore genre has been stagnating for a while with no new takes in terms of style or technical skill.Lorna shore came out with a blackened rendition of the deathcore genre; fusing DC and blackmetal influences to deliver a perfect album. Spme of the songs mix up a bit and take roots from slam metal and more stylistics of death metal but the overtone remains constant.Cj Mccreary has amazing vocals and it sucks that he is no longer part of Lorna shore. The music is haunting and punishing; the solos are tied into the essence of the song and Everything blends together in absolute perfection.I dont think that this will ever be able to be recaptured. This is a unicorn of an album in the metal deathcore genre. It's a travesty that the band will never be complete again.

Its early in 2020 and we already have an album of the year contender. What is even more amazing is the fact that this album wasn't delayed due turmoil behind the scenes. In any case, this is a fantastic follow up to Lorna Shore's blackened deathcore masterpiece "Flesh Coffin". "Immortal" takes all of the great parts of their previous release and adds some seriously great symphonic elements and equally fantastic brutal vocals. It will be interesting to see what happens to Lorna Shore now, but any vocalist would count themselves as lucky to be able to join this amazing band.

This is a very good album. I'm not a huge straight up deathcore/doom but this album kicks hard. Some of the breakdowns are just disgusting (in a good way obviously). Very thin production though. No bass and kick is kinda weak.

Great album

Do not buy physical copies of this album. The CD case arrived destroyed. The bottom hinge of the front cover was already broken before I even unwrapped the case. The case cannot open or close. Cheap garbage.

There are some truly epic songs here. I recommend the album 100%. Favorite songs are: Hollow Sentence, Relentless Tourment, and Immortal!

I feel deathcore has been stagnant for some time now. But I've not been this obsessed with an album in recent memory. There are sounds at times that take me back to discovering European melodic death/Black metal when I was in my teens. Its nostalgic in that sense for me but also feels incredibly fresh when that sound is fused with (no word of a lie) the heaviest breakdowns I've ever heard. I'd long since gotten bored of them but each one on this album begs me to come out of mosh retirement. Ignore the drama surrounding the release. Support the band for the incredible piece of art they've put out and just enjoy as they make deathcore great again.

The best deathcore album of the last decade. Breathing new life into the genre. 10/10

It's only January and I have no idea how anyone can top this. Shadow of Intent shocked me last year and now this. Do not hesitate, it's everything a death core album should be.

Was die Jungs hier gezaubert haben ist ein super fettes Brett!! Jeder einzelne Song ist Riffwand, wie sie es nur gibt. Und der Gesang/ Growls ist nur böse, einfach nur fett! Die Videos zu den Songs sollte man sich unbedingt anschauen.

Das Album selbst ist der Hammer und hätte mindestens 4 Sterne verdient. Leider muss bei dem Vinyl etwas schief gelaufen sein. Das ganze ist viel zu leise abgemischt und Bässe sind quasi keine vorhanden. Ich habe probeweisediverse andere Scheiben aufgelegt um auszuschliessen das es an der Anlage liegt.Sehr schade darum,die werde ich wohl nicht mehr hören und evtl weiter verkaufen.

Del disco no tengo ninguna pega, es del estado del producto el que deja mucho que desear. Carcasa rota y lo que sujeta el disco por dentro echo pedazos, ergo no sujeta nada. Por suerte es algo que puedo reponer pero es vergonzoso que esto llegue asi. El disco "parece" estar en buenas condiciones
