Once again, SockGuy has nailed it with this pair. I give my hubby SockGuy socks on every occasion, he loves them that much. They last through wash after wash and hold their shape.

Well sock guy has changed a bit
These are very thin...would not buy again. I have old "sock guy socks" that are merino wool and thick bottomed. THESE are NOT those socks, they are not thick bottomed. I don't think they have them anymore...used to have a larger size as well.

Good for cycling and/or street wear. Not thick but not too thin. LG/XL is a comfortable fit for size 10.5/44.5 foot.

Best Socks in the World
I have been wearing Sock Guy wool socks exclusively since 2000...yes, 22 years. They are perfect in every way, thin, wick well, no frills just great socks. I only gave 4 out of five stars for value for the money because they are hard to find for less than $15 a pair now. That's a lot of money for a pair of socks. As described above though, I really like them, and they last about 100 times worn (a couple of years in my sock rotation).
