Very speedy. More than fast enough.
The trike was fairly easy to put together, even though the instructions were a bit lacking. Not hard to figure out, though. Everything was in the box. Not a thing missing. The tire slippage when starting out is a bit of a problem, but once you figure out how to feather the throttle, it's not a problem. The battery seems to last a long time and they even hot glued the terminals to keep them from corrosion. Remember to put the fuse in by the battery or you won't have power. A spare fuse was sent with. My experience when I checked the speed of the trike was about 8 mph on setting 1. About 11 mph on setting 2. And 16 mph on setting 3. Although, you can really get flying if you're going down a slope. Don't forget to re-check all the tightness of the nuts and bolts after a few drives. Lots of fun to take a spin on.

Great electric trike that deserves 5 stars
I had difficulty assembling it and the manual was not helpful, but the people of Wyber Products were very helpful. They were great and very polite. They also replied very promptly when I needed help with the trike. The trike is great to go to the market or for rides. I am disabled and I can take it on the bus also. It fits everywhere and it can turn very tightly in a small space. It can pick up speed quickly and goes very fast, actually faster then I want to go. It 's easy to control the throttle to make it go very slow in the store. It's not an off road vehicle but great on a fairly good road. It needs to be driven with care, avoiding pot holes and uneven ground, and I would not recommended for anyone younger than 14-15. Goes with a lot of power up a moderate incline. It's great for a disabled person who has normal strength in arms and hands and can sit without back support, unless one gets a saddle with a back rest. It's extremely easy to maintain, store, and very economical. I am very happy with it and would recommended it to other partially disabled people or anyone else because it is a lot of fun to ride. It comes with a small charger that works great. I put a larger wire basket on the front in which I can take 2 little dogs or plenty of groceries.

Love it/ Hate it1
I broke my back last year and recovery is taking a long time. I have a little dog that I walk 3 to 5 miles every single day rain or shine. After my back I decided to get a scooter that doesn't brake the bank, so I could continue walking him. I found this scooter and ordered it and really love it. I have to charge it once every few days. Yes you need to put more weight on the front tire when on gravel or going uphill but just standing up (if u can) works fine. I would have given 5 stars but the tires are what is stopping me. Yes I went to the hardware store and they had the inner tube but not the tires (which are completely bald after a year of driving it). I went back to the place I ordered the scooter (Amazon) and they have tires that they recommend to go with the scooter. Don't bother . They do not fit. No matter how much u try these tires do not go with this scooter. So I am at a loss as to where to go from here. UGH!!!

Not at all a good product
The box came completely damaged and looked like it obviously had been opened before, After spending hours trying to put this together there was the basket missing. The instructions are horrible. Also the description is untrue this trike should not be used for elderly people to get around. It’s dangerous and tips and has horrible traction!!!!

Tire replacement
My son bought this MotoTech 48v 500w tricycle about six months ago. This is a second review. He uses it to ride back and forth to work about 4 miles away, 20 minutes each way. The battery is preforming well. There is no noticeable loss of power during the day and charges fully each night. Yes, the reviews that claim it is top-heavy and can tip over are true. But so is a bicycle and we learn to ride those. It takes some practice to learn the best way to ride. The front wheel does tend to slip on take off but if you lean forward to get your weight over the front wheel it helps gain traction. When the time comes to replace the front wheel I will replace it With a knobby tire hoping for better traction. Pictured. It can go fast! 25-30 MPH. So wear the appropriate safety gear. Helmet, elbow pads, knee pads. The rear tires have the been the challenge so far. The original tires wore out fast and the inner tubes are thin. I tried the Red 2.50-4 hand truck tires from the local hardware store. They fit well and work fine around the house but on sidewalk and street use they proved to be not durable enough. We are trying the Kendra brand 2.80/2.50-4 from the electric scooter parts store. They also have the knobbys. Changing the rear tires are fairly straight forward but the axle nut is on very tight. Use a breaker bar or pneumatic impact driver. Thorn strip between the inner tubes and tires are a good idea. I have not had to disassemble the front wheel to replace the tire yet. Anyone with experience in doing this? A posting would be much appreciated.

Worthless
This will not go, the front tire just spins and only moves if you lean forward but WILL NOT do any type of incline! Wasted my money for sure!
