I was a little skeptical buying this product. My one year old son hates when we wash his hair. So, I was desperate to find something to help us with bath night. when I receive the product I wasn’t sure how to use it. You should make sure that you place it right on the hairline. Make sure to place it behind your child’s ears and adjust the strap for a good snug fit. When you get the perfect fit on the 23 adjustable fasteners on the cap, try to remember the number position. Overall, it does it’s job. It’s extremely stretchy, it conforms to the shape of his head, really easy to clean. My 3 year old would scream bloody murder whenever we tried to wash her hair. You would think the water was acid. When we bought this it completely changed our bath time experience. She laughs and giggles as the bubbles run off the visor onto the shower floor. She ASKS to wash her hair. No more terrified baths. This thing is great. Only suggestion is if you have a child with longer hair, put it in a pony while you put the visor on, then take the pony out. It’s hard to adjust with all the hair in the way.

My 2 yr old grandson used to panic when water would roll into his face or ears when washing his hair. Now we call this having "waterfalls" coming down. Water doesn't get in face or ears using this. He's very happy to have his hair washed now.

This came with absolutely no instructions. The way to put it on was not easy, like a stretch band, but rather required that you fasten it after on the child. My granddaughter was not into sitting there while we put it on. Maybe your children are more patient than mine. On the other hand, it was high quality, heavy plastic material. It did keep the water out of her eyes as long as I had it on tight enough that it didn't fall over her eyes, which again made her mad.

This may be the best $10 I’ve ever spent. Bath time has been a nightmare for our two year old. Try as I might, I can’t get her to look up to rinse her hair, and she becomes hysterical when the water washes over her face and gets into her ears. We have seriously only been washing her hair maybe once a month because it’s been so traumatizing for her.We used this thing for the first time tonight and it is a godsend! It was a little tricky to put on, but a little Nickelodeon kept her preoccupied while I finagled with the awkward strap. Once I had it secured, I let down her ponytail and plopped her in the bath.Oh my gosh, my toddler has the cleanest hair she has had in months and her face and ears stayed COMPLETELY dry. I could not be happier. If we experience any trouble in the future, I’ll update, but for now, I am incredibly satisfied with this purchase.

The best thing I could have bought!! I always have a hard time washing my baby's hair because she doesn't like the water running in her eyes. This product made wash day so simple. She also loves wearing it as a "hat". My baby is 2.

Thought since it had so many adjustable holes that it would fit my 2 year olds head(I've always thought she had a big head) but it's too big and falls down. Seems like it would do an amazing job if your child has a big head or on a adult's head. Sad I really wanted to like this product.

First of all, be aware of the slow shipping. It took more than 2 months for me to receive this. My toddler has already gotten used to the water flowing down his face by the time I received this. It is a pretty good concept but water can still sip through the gap. It does get frustrated if your kids are like mine can’t have anything sit on their heads. However, if I have gotten this when he was younger, then he might have been easier to get used to this. One bonus point, you kid will look ridiculously adorable in this when they don’t struggle. Mine looks like a cute smiley sunflower!

I got it for my 3-year old son. It works well to block the water from stepping down to his face. Although he still cries even while wearing this hat, this hat does its job.Update: After using this hat for about 3 months, I can for sure say that my son does not cry anymore when he wears this hat.

I have a toddler that screams bloody murder when we wash her hair and water accidentally touches her face. This helps slightly but water does sometimes still come through as the visor tends to move despite the tightness

Had my doubts but the cap actually does the job. Water flows over the rim and not on my daughters face. Feels sturdy and decent quality. Easy to adjust. I imagine most kids won’t like to wear it- thankfully mine is adjusting to it. I recommend it.

This thing is huge. On it’s tightest possible setting, it’s too big for my two year old and slides right off. The buckle part you use to do it up is also very weird and doesn’t stay put very well.
