Perfect replacement
This filter was a perfect replacement for the original filter. It was easy to install and cost savings was enormous. The original filter replacement cost was $50.00. This filter cost was almost half of that and you get 3 filters !

Better Price
Certainly glad I checked Amazon and found these reasonably priced filters for my fridge. These worked just like the expensive ones and they were easy to install.

I have procrastinated on getting a new filter for my refrigerator because the filters are so expensive. I have a water softener system in my home already but my refrigerator wouldn’t work without a filter in it. I gave these filters a try and I’m so glad I did. The taste has improved out of the refrigerator and it was really easy to install. I will continue to put these in the future!

Buying an Off Brand Refrigerator Water Filter
So far we are very pleased with these water filters. They are half the price from the GE Brand, and we got two with this order! If they last as long as the brand name, we will be extremely happy with our purchase.

Got these filters instead of the standard expensive ones. They came quick and well packaged. They were easy to install and we've had it for about a month with no problems. Water tastes the same as with the standard filters. When we finish these, I'll be buying from this seller again.

These Didn't Work in my GE Fridge
I have a GE fridge model GNE27JYMNFFS.Got a pack of three filters, tried two of them and neither worked. Fridge showed an error code after pressing "filter status" after putting in filter each and water did not come out of the dispenser. Popped the old GE filter back in and started working again.I did not see any customer support number on the boxes they came in or any way to contact customer service.Returning and will order GE parts.

Didn't work in my fridge!
Wish I knew before buying a NEW GE FRIDGE!Any new GE fridges will only accept "XWFE" filters because of a RFID chip. The XWF filters will NOT work because of this. Skip this filter if your fridge says you need the "XWFE" filter, these will not work.

No water comes out
Don't bother with these cheap filters. No water comes out. I popped the GE filter back in. It worked fine. Will probably stick with expensive GE filters since all the cheap filters probably have the same issue. Just found out why: the new GE fridges will only run with XWFE filters due to a RFID chip. The XWF filters will not run since they do not have this RFID chip. Thus, GE is basically forcing people to buy their super expensive filters.

Useless-update
I bought this after checking twice if my refrigerator reference was on the description. It was and still it doesn’t work. I just bought the GE original. I’m waiting for a refund, will update my comment to let you know how it goes with customer support.Update= I did receive a full refund in 3 weeks- costly return though cost me 50% of the price of the cartridges
