Get those bikes off the floor
Great rack. I caught it on sale for almost half off. Great buy easy to use. I put a 1x6 behind it since it wouldn't fasten to 16" centers. But other than that can't complain does as it should

Great for my bike collection storage
Got to a point where I had too many bikes to leave standingThis storage rack solved that problem easily by handling 6 bikes and keeping them out of the way

A solid 4 stars - could be improved.
Can you hang 6 bikes with this rack? Yes, but not as pictured on the product page with all three sections of rack being mounted side-by-side and flush together. It's important to center each rack across wall studs, or mount on wood paneling that is anchored into wall studs. Two bikes can fit on each section, but there must be spacing between the racks. This rack system is not made specifically for bicycles. In fact, the literature that comes with the rack doesn't even mention bicycles - it shows an assortment of attachments and tooling. It's safe to say that bikes would be the heaviest thing this rack system can handle, and proper mounting is key for stability and safety. Hanging & removing bikes from the rack takes care; pulling down on the bike could bend the hook, break the mount, damage the bike, or even cause injury. It's not something I want my younger kids doing, so only larger bikes for older children will be mounted at our house.Tips (also see pictures):• Determine how high to mount the rack by measuring and eyeballing your largest bike - lift it up off the ground as far as you want it to be and take note of the top of the front tire. The bottom of the rack should be mounted between 3 - 6 inches below the top of the front tire. My wall is unfinished, so I used the 3-inch approximation (no, I did not measure - just eyeballed).• Once you mark the desired mounting position/height, use a level to draw a line on two studs. Place the rack on the line and center it between the studs. Use the rack as a template to mark the screw position.• See how close to the edge the screw holes are? Yeah, that's my biggest complaint with this product - it needs to be about an inch wider for standard wall stud mounting. Make sure to pre-drill those holes to ensure screws are driven in straight and the studs do not split!• Once the rack is mounted, pop two large hooks on each end as far apart as possible.• Different size bikes should be mounted side-by-side on the same rack to minimize petal & handlebar interferences.I rate this as 4 vs 5-stars because the racks are not wide enough for optimal mounting on studs, and I am somewhat concerned that bicycle weight may be pushing the design limits.

This was very easy to install and helps with storing my bikes
This product was very easy to install, and help my new garage get organized, I mean it came with 6 hooks to snap on but not sure how 6 bikes will fit, all I needed was 5 and it works perfectly to save room in my garage come winter.

Holes are 15 1/8 inches, not 16”
The overall length of each unit is 16”, however, the drill holes are 15 1/8” apart, so you’re only going to hit a stud on one side. They provided drywall anchors with this unit, likely for that reason. If you put one end in a stud and drywall anchors on the other end, it will rip out of the wall as soon as you hang just one bike. We tried it and with just one bike, which was a carbon bike so extremely light, and the rack ripped right out of the wall and bent the rack in about 1-2 seconds. The rack is supposed to hold more than one bike and most bikes are made of aluminum which is heavier than the carbon bike we put on it, so the only way this rack can work is if your studs are a little closer than 16” and if they are exactly 16” on center you might get lucky and grab a little edge of the stud. We are going to go to the hardware store and buy a 2x4 board and drill that directly into the studs and then we’ll mount the rack to the 2x4. That should work, but it won’t be pretty and requires the purchase of the wood, which is expensive right now and of course the trip to the hardware store. For these reasons, I’m giving 1 star.
