The key fob is a good replacement for my mk5 golf. It came with a VW sticker for the fob which i didn't realise it would so great. The glass immobiliser chip in my original key was a little tricky to remove. It is surrounded with glue. The instructions say to heat this up with a hairdryer to remove it. I ended up using Acetone (Nail varnish remover) dapped onto it from a cotton bud to dissolve the glue until it turned to a kind of gel. I could then remove the chip using a small screwdriver. Don't force it as if it breaks I think you have to get a new one programmed by the dealer at quite a cost. Just take it slow and soak it in acetone. I did end up having to cut some of the old fob away to aid access but to be honest I think I could have done it without if I had realised the acetone would work. Its very slightly larger than the original fob so I couldn't just do a straight swab with the blade section of the fob inserting into the new batter section. you have to use the entire new fob.

Used to fix my genuine mk6 golf key.Not an exact replacement but does work with a little bodge. Isn’t a straight swap for a mk6 key. Internals wouldn’t fit I don’t think.

Yes, it is not original, but it is very difficult to distinguish except for the logo and one or two clicks of plastic quality difference. Maybe if examined very closely in detail. Easy to setup. VW Passat 2002 B5.5

Un buon prodotto ma attenzione bisogna sapere fare delle correzioni,almeno nel mio caso nel vecchio telecomando della touran t2 il cip l'anno incollato di fabbrica bisogna staccarlo senza romperlo,ho dovuto tagliare il vecchio telecomando fino a poter estrarlo poi un altro accorgimento la molla della chiave è troppo debole ma ho messo la vecchia quindi tutto ok,se proprio vogliamo essere dei rompini ma a me non da fastidio la chiave chiusa resta un po fuori comunque sono soddisfatto

El mando es casi igual al original, un poco más grande el hueco donde se guarda el espadín, pero casi imperceptible.La placa encaja perfectamente como el la original. El chip tiene su hueco también, en mi caso lo pegué para que no hiciera ruido al moverlo. En la original tiene unas fijaciones para aguantar el chip pero bueno... nada extraordinario. El espadín puedes cambiar el conjunto entero o solo el espadín y ponerlo en el mecanismo nuevo. Este segundo es más laborioso porque tiene un pasador y se complica la trama. Si optas por la primera opción es intercambia el mecanismo, poner en muelle en si fijación y darle un par de vueltas en el sentido contrario del reloj. El metal del original parece más resistente. Es más fácil para mí al menos! Puedes coger el muelle del original, parece que tiene más fuerza.
