If you expect metal knobs, as they are described as bronze in the description, you will be disappointed. These knobs are plastic sprayed with a thin coat of metallic paint. Although they are poorly made, with the screw that tightens the knob to the pot inset so deeply they are really difficult to reach, unlike the old Fender knobs which makes setting and aligning them in position difficult and frustrating.The reason I am keeping these knobs is because they look good and will add touch of elegance when I replace the tolex on the cabinet, since I have done so much work on this amp, it is already custom, so it might as well look like what it is.

These are good knobs but they do not work on smaller amps where the knobs are close together. They install on the posts fine but the tips and tails get in each other’s way. You turn one knob and the tip brushes and moves the knob next to it. I put them on a Peavey Envoy 110 and immediately realized the were not going to work. They are very nice and look great. I’ll put them in my parts box for another day and find others for the Peavey. Very disappointed, but there’s no flaw in the knobs.

I like these, but not for my little front man I need more room. The stud on the amps were smaller than the socket but tightened nicely

Wanted to give a little more unique appearence to my Fender Custom V Super-Sonic 22 Limited Edition amp. Replaced the round stock knobs with these ivory raised head vintage chicken head knobs. Little bit of a "PITA" to line up perfectly (based on the amp) using the small allen wrench but look good once they're on. Seem to be good quality and can't beat the price. Came within a couple of days as well.

These knobs worked on my block letter EVH 5150. Even though these are made for larger shaft potentiometers, the set screws are long enough to clamp down nicely on smaller shafts. And they didnt nearly as much. Ive seen knock off 5150 knobs go for $8-$15 a piece, and the original 5150 chicken head knobs for $25-$35 a piece.Are they perfect? No. But I wasnt about to spend $200 to replace the 8 missing knobs.Do they work? Yes. They clamp down tight and spin the shaft just as good as the original at a fraction of the cost.

The knobs were the exact fit for the old space heaters.
