I work in a deep freezer and my hands get rough and dry. H20+ products are excellent exfoliants (the Detox Scrub) and this great moisturizing lotion leaves my hands silky smooth. I use the H20+ Clay Detox Scrub and this H20+ Detox Lotion. The lotion is not greasy and is a great moisturizer with a lemon grass scent. All their products originate from Japan and use traditional formulas to make your skin feeling fresh and smooth. I learned about H20+ from using it on Disney Cruise Line voyages.

# My ReviewThis review is for H2O+ Exfoliating Body Scrub with Hyaluronic Acid. As someone who has extremely dry skin as well as patches of hard skin, I’m always curious to try new options to improve my skin whatever the problem is. So, when I saw this body scrub, I thought I’d give it a try!First of all, I can’t say enough good things about how this product is packaged, delivered and presented. A+ is what I’d give it! The whole presentation screams quality and we haven’t even got to the body scrub yet! The body scrub is packaged in a nice netted bag/pouch with a tie that includes 2 additional trial size packets of its same brand gel cleanser and moisturizer. The way in which it’s packaged is a nice touch if you’re looking to get this to pamper yourself or gifting it to someone. The body scrub itself comes in a tub that makes it easy to screw off the cap and scoop the right amount of scrub you need. Based on first time use, I think I’ll get 3 – 4 uses out of 1 tub. The tub is clearly identifiable with the H20+ branding, logo, and well labelled with clear descriptions and instructions for use.As described, the body scrub has been gently formulated that’s free of a number of ingredients that could be harmful to sensitive skins (parabens, phthalate, sulfates, etc.). It also has been made of a blend of plant extracts that are known for their detoxifying and moisture retaining properties (Dandelion, Bergamot Burdock, and Green Tea). These, with a combination of clay, hyaluronic acid and deep-sea water helps to revitalize, tone, protect and improve the skin. There’s a lot going on! But you end up with soft, smooth and great feeling skin that treats dry, rough, scaly, itchy and skin irritations.The consistency and viscosity of the body scrub is a thick balm like texture. It’s not like sugar soap where there’s a definite gritty and abrasive feel where you know that it’s rough against the skin. This scrub is a lot more subtle in exfoliation and is very light and once applied and rubbed in, there’s a pleasant sensation! A small amount is sufficient enough to spread out evenly. The body scrub feels smooth over the skin and doesn’t feel harsh or abrasive. So far, the body scrub works as described! This isn’t something that you can use daily, however once a week feels sufficient and I think it’s worth waiting to see whether there’s any significant change in how my skin feels after a few months. There’s a nice fragrance that’s a combination of the plant extracts added to the formula, sweet smelling that dissipates over time.Overall, this is a good body scrub from a well-known brand that helps combat troubled skin. I'm pretty happy with the exfoilation of this body scrub. While I have tried other body scrubs before, this is the first time that I have used one that is designed to be applied on dry skin, rather than wet. Your skin is also supposed to be cleansed before applying. I don't want to take a shower and towel off, and then immediately apply the scrub and rinse off again in the shower. So instead I apply this on a lazy Sunday evening when I don't get around to showering until around noon and I'm not doing a physical activity like mowing the yard that will get me sweaty. So my skin isn't freshly cleansed when I apply the scrub after dinner, but it's close enough.Because this scrub is labeled as a body scrub, I don't put it on my face as there are other products out there that are specifically designed for the face. I use this body scrub all over the rest of my body rather than just targeting a few areas like just my arms and feet. The product states you can use it 1-2 times a week, and I feel once a week is sufficient for me. If you are applying the scrub to the entire body, it is less messy to just do it in the shower before turning on the water rather than standing on the bathroom floor. The little white bits of the scrub sometimes fall off as you are applying it in a circular motion on the skin so it's just easier to stand in the shower, plus you need to rinse off when you are done any way. After rinsing off with warm water, my skin feels smooth and also has a buttery feel to it. Not an oily or greasy feeling but I just feel refreshed. The scent of the scrub has a pleasant but not overpowering ginger smell to it. The container is 8.5 oz and I'm estimating that if I use it each time all over my body, I will get around 5-6 applications out of it.My scrub also came with a trial size packet of Gel Cleanser as well as one of Gel Moisturizer. Given I could only use each one once, it's hard to know how effective they are in the long term. However, the cleanser seemed to do as good of a job as my regular facial cleanser. I really liked the Moisturizer as some moisturizers leave a bit of an oily shine on my face, and this one did well with my skin as it was absorbed right away. Because these two items are not listed in the product description, I am not certain if they will be included with the body scrub. Just an extra bonus if they are included.
