29'' Tall Cat Scratching Post, Scratching Posts for Indoor Cats with Hanging Ball, Durable Cat Furniture with Sisal Rope

The media could not be loaded.  We were not expecting our 5-month-old kitten to enjoy this scratching pole as much as he does. I was just hoping he would use it to scratch his nails instead of furniture. But as it turns out it's quite the toy for our cat. He plays on it for 15 to 30 minutes at a time. I believe this has catnip infused into it. I could be wrong but it was crazy to see how obsessed he was with this scratching pole. He plays with it several times a day and he loves the little dangling ball on the top. This scratching pole turned out to be an incredible find. So much so that it got me wondering if there's such a thing as a spray cat nap. I searched this on Amazon and there are several to choose from. so we're going to order one and spray it on this thing and his cat condo to draw his attention to them. I'd rather him scratch on those things than my furniture. I definitely recommend this scratching pole.

When the cats open the box before you! :D cats need to scratch to keep themselves active, and make their claws look beautiful at all times! to relieve stress and keep furniture in good shape, therefore this scratching pole is great for them! this box arrived and we took it inside, the next thing we know is that our cats scratched the amazon tape until the opened it! :) that was an excellent sign showing us that we got a great product for them!This pole was simple and quick to put together so our cats play with the ball, scratch, stretch and all!

I loved that my cat could stretch and claw. It was a good height for her. The only negative thing I can say is it could be sturdier.

My cat prefers taller scratching posts and this one is a great height that is easy to assemble and she doesn't knock it over too quickly. I didn't expect the ball toy at the top to last more than a few minutes with my cat since she enjoys chewing them off, and it did not last. But I was able to tie it back on a few times until it became hopeless, and then attached a more durable toy easily. Overall a great product for a great cat and a very reasonable price.

Take a cardboard tube, like the core of a wrapping paper tube, cover it in glue, from a glue gun, then wind sissel around it, and you have this post. It’s okay for a kitten, under five pounds, but, for a full grown cat, poor value.

My large Norwegian Forest Cat loves to stretch out as hes scratching and the height is perfect for him and it is sturdy enough for him. Not only does he like to scratch the post but it wasnt even fully assembled before he started scratching the base. Very easy to assemble as well.

Easy to assemble and the cats love it, however, after one that lasted 2+ years, we have to replace this one in less than 2 months. The rope sheds and gets all over the floor, and broke easily. Will be getting one with a different type of rope next time.

This is the fourth scratching post/pad that we bought for our new rescue kitty, and thankfully she is happy to use it! The first three are sitting ignored and unused for several weeks while the cat scratched our door frames. Hopefully, she will continue to use the new post and has so far ignored the doors!

My cat took to it straight away! He’s always been a bit funny at first when I've gotten new cat furniture in the past but was scratching at this post the minute I built it. He was actually trying to get to it before I'd finished assembling so thank goodness it didn't take long to put together! I wasn’t sure how it was going to come in the box but the post itself comes in 2 parts and the base is folded in half and unfolds flat once built which means when I do eventually move house it's not going to be bulky and difficult to pack. Was simple to just screw together and seems pretty sturdy - I was worried with it being so tall the cat would be able to knock it over but doesn’t look like he’ll be able to which is great!He loves playing with the ball that's attached to the top and hasn't managed to pull it off yet, despite trying… Good quality and I’d recommend for any cat owners but especially for those who’s cats tend to be quite rough with their scratching posts because it seems like it’s going to last a lot longer than cheaper posts I’ve bought in the past.

Didn't last, after 8 weeks of use the rope was falling off all over the place and the base snapped in 2 , I suggest you look at other suppliers!

Cat loved this and does use it as a scratch pad but she's a young active bengal so launched herself at it which sent it and her flying. Have weighted the base with a couple of small dumbbell weights but still precarious and she's more wary of it now. Finally snapped it in half - just a cardboard roll inside. Have now bought a very robust wooden one.

Base not great as the way it is assembled means it is easily broken... like ours was within a few days of use :(Lovely scratch bit though!
