Very sturdy, great for my vaulted ceiling.
I have a lot of camera tripods with similar mechanisms - a ball pivot with a bolt to tighten it and hold it in place. This is far more stable than any of them. The overall mount flexes a little bit, but it's definitely not an issue holding my Nebula Cosmos projector.The length is going to be too much for a ceiling mount if you have 9' ceilings and are using it with a Cosmos projector. About a foot down for the mount, plus about another foot for the projector itself, and it'd be very easy to accidentally hit. But, It's perfect for a vaulted ceiling, where you can adjust the drop to approximately match the top edge of your screen.

Works well for my application.
I purchased the Nebula 4k SE cosmos projector and bought this ceiling mount to use for my home theater. It is simple and easy to install and works well for the Nebula projector. I mounted the projector upside down in my theater room.

Great if you buy different wall anchors
The stand itself is great however the anchors it comes (metal expansion anchors) with are horrible if you're planning on using it for the ceiling, the mount sank about an inch from the ceiling and looked ugly. Ended up having to buy different anchors and it's tight against the ceiling

Easy to install, sturdy, a great buy!
Have been using this mount for our Nebula Cosmos projector for almost 3 months now. It seems very sturdy and I don't have any worries about it falling. I like how it's sleek and doesn't call for too much attention. Paired with wire covers, we were able to integrate the projector in our room pretty seamlessly.Edited: a year later and it’s still holding up like it did when we first got it. A great buy!

Great quality and looks sleek
It holds well my Mars3 proyector but the max. weight capacity recommended is pretty close to the projector’s weight so my recommendation is to fix the mount arm perpendicular to the ceiling.

Installed on basement breeze blocks.
Pivots to perfect viewing. With the projector using self keystone you basically screw in to bottom, aim towards screen and tighten up.
