good rod for the price
Solid eagle claw product, I bought it for a spare rod and for folks who come with me without a catfishing rod. It casts well is light and has some backbone. Don't think it's quite heavy enough for the biggest cats but is solid for normal use.

Very good rod for the money about to buy another
Very good rod for the money about to buy another. It got test on the first day off use caught a 35lb flat catfish held up strong. Got it paired up with a 5601 Garcia baitcast with 30 lb test. Gonna get another to pair up with a diawa millionaire reel I just bought from here.

Eye badly bent upon receipt
These were a Father's Day gift for my husband. Seems to be good rods, but one eye was pretty badly bent upon arrival. Not sure if that is the fault of the manufacturer or shipping company.

Very durable casting rod.
I use it as a bait casting rod for big catfish and bass. With the right line and hooks/lures/bait, this thing handles the big fish.

Love this rod. Can horse 20lb+ channel cats easily. Cant wait to take it out to Lake Michigan for some bigger species.
