You will not find better cutters. I use these for everything. Cutting zip ties from my no parking signs posted on meter poles. Cutting tie wire(metal baling wire). Even cutting finger and toe nails. Works great. Super Sharp. Been using them for years.

Buying my second one for nephews new puppy. I had found that the one I purchased for wire cutting was amazing for cutting dogs nails! Worked better than anything I have ever used! Used on my big dog and now my little Chihuahua. It’s true, it does cut the nail (and so precisely) as if it’s made of butter, (with no crushing the nail as so many dog nail trimmers do), and there’s so little fuss from the dog because it’s fast, painless (of course be careful that you don’t cut into the quick and the best way for that of course is cutting just a little bit and trimming more often.). And no struggles! Rather than telling my nephew how great it works I decided to just give him one!

Works well for silk flower crafting. Comfortable handle too.

UPDATE: Original review below. I just got one more of these diagonal FLUSH cutters and the issue I had on the previous ones is fixed, at least on this pair. The cutting edges of the two blades on the new pair are very well aligned. They provide a very clean cut. I noted the mis-alignment on the earlier pair mostly when cutting my finger nails. I'm happy to report that I new get very clean nail trimming. I now have gifted these to my kids, have a pair in my tool box, a pair on my workbench, and a pair in the utility drawer in my kitchen.These would be five star were it not for the fact that the two sides of the jaw do not hit squarely. There is a bit of an offset of the cutting edges when the jaws are closed. This makes for a less than clean cut and means the cutting edges may wear and offset more with each cut as the jaws snap closed. For the price I'll live with them. BTW, I see no reviews that mention that these are not actually "diagonal" wire cutters. They are a flush cut diagonal cutter that is especially useful for cutting finger tails, toe nails, zip tie tails, casting barbs, etc.

Hands down..at 66 years old..best pair of wire cutters I’ve ever had.Sharp..PRECISION CUT..and they’re loosely connected so NO BREAK IN TIME IS NEEDED.Liked them so much and they were so CHEAP..I just bought a SECOND PAIR.. just in case I lose these or someone likes them SO MUCH..they might accidentally keep them for themselves.
