Excellent Earplugs
These are the only type of earplugs that provide both strong noise protection and comfort for me. I like the way they mold to the shape of my ear and are sticky enough to be reused up to about ten times per pair. I understand that they may not work for everyone, but they are certainly worth a try.

These are the most effective earplugs I've found
These are great. I don't really care for the foam type ear plugs. If I'm using them for sleep. foam ear plugs take a minute or so to fully expand. During that time, you get to hear a symphony of loud, annoying noises, which is not exactly what I want when trying to fall asleep. Then, about half the time, foam ear plugs dislodge quickly and require re-positioning. If that doesn't occur, they very likely work their way loose during the night so that they are not fully in place in the morning. On the other hand, these plugs are like someone hit mute on the universe. You need to carefully read the instructions on use, and cover the ear canal, as opposed to inserting into the canal, but they quickly attenuate sound very effectively, and they stay put. Be advised, you may sleep through alarms, phones, riots, gunshots, sonic booms, etc. For travel, they are great. Just get good at lip-reading the flight attendant. You can't hear squat with them in place, and people really can't see that you have them in unless they look from your side. You can re-use them several times as well. Good product.

Totally Comfortable
I needed earplugs for extended use in a moderate noise environment, but foam hurts after several hours, and even "music" earplugs get annoying. These earplugs sit in the outside bowl of your ear, and don't go in, and man are they comfortable. It helps if they are body temperature, and then you apply gentle pressure for several seconds until it molds to your ear shape. Sometimes it takes a couple pushes in different areas to get it to mold right. But once it's molded, it stays that way. I had them on for 10+ hours one day, and at the end there was no pain at all. When used correctly, they cut out a surprising amount of noise - I didn't realize there were rated for 22 dB NRR.

snug fit, effective
ya neighbor in the apartment above has a squeaky bed and a 45-minute parade in her room every morning so these kind of are required to exist, good job mack! also I have sensitive ears and can't bear concerts or places like the dance floor at a wedding without them so if I'm going to an event with loud music - these are coming with no doubt. they're literally saving one of my five senses in those cases. I don't know how people use those dumb foam ones, like, what? Just make sure to follow the instructions

Great earplug for sleeping
I have been using these for 10+ years to sleep since I traveled for work. They are soft, comfortable, and just quiet enough to block out unwanted noise. I can still hear my alarm go off if its set. I use them on airplanes also. One pair lasts me at least a month, which is good because the price has gone up quite a bit.

Inexpensive and Do a Good Job of Blocking Sound from Snoring Partner
These are essentially round discs made of a waxy-like substance that you insert into your ears and then mold and shape to cover the openings and seal out sound. The process is almost like playing with Play Doh or putty. They take some getting used to at first because the plugs are relatively big compared to the size of the openings in your ears (mine, anyway) and are very different than other types of ear plugs, such as the foam kind. On the whole I recommend them, though, because: 1) They do a really good job of blocking out sound, 2) They are comfortable to sleep in. The only complaints I have are: 1) The packaging - They come in a hard plastic case which keeps them clean and intact until use. The problem is when you try to put the plugs back into the case. Because you manipulate the plug they get a little bigger/flatter and no longer fit in easily. I would recommend getting a different case or little ceramic dish, etc. to store the plugs in on your nightstand or medicine cabinet in between uses, 2) They do have a tendency to stick to your hair so make sure all your hair is pulled away from your face/ears before and after putting them in. If you are a man with hairy ears you might experience a problem. Maybe shave or trim your ears first? I don't know. For people who have tried every solution under the sun, this is a relatively low risk and low cost investment and may very well work for you.

Macks really are pillow soft silicone earplugs. I have tried other brands when I couldn't get Macks and the silicone is hard and difficult to mold to your ear. Macks are easily pliable to mold to your ear and stay soft which makes it easier to sleep on either side. They also don't go in as deep as the foam earplugs that can go in too deep and hurt your ears. Macks are the best earplugs I have ever used and I won't use anything else from now on.

I have been using the Mack's Pillow Soft Silicone Earplugs for sleeping and they have made a noticeable difference in how easily I fall asleep and how well I stay asleep through the night. The earplugs are made from very soft moldable silicone that gently shapes to the outside of the ear, which creates a comfortable seal without the pressure that some foam earplugs cause. Because they form a tight seal over the ear opening they help reduce surrounding noise by about 22 decibels, which is enough to noticeably soften sounds like traffic, people talking, or someone snoring nearby. This makes the room feel much quieter and helps my mind relax instead of being distracted by outside noise. I also like that they are soft enough to wear while lying on a pillow and they do not feel irritating during the night. Another benefit is that they can be reused a few times before replacing them, so a pack lasts a long time. Overall they are a simple but really effective solution if you struggle with sleep because of noise, travel often, or just want a calmer and quieter environment at night.
