I purchased this on the recommendation of a neighbor. I am SO HAPPY, I love that I don't have to look at my compost bin any longer. This is a game changer mounted on the inside of the door in my kitchen. The forward flipping lid is genius, easy to use and super easy to keep clean. It is all plastic and sturdy. The price is good. The size is nice for our needs, we create a lot of compost (about 4 gallons a week) and we only have to change the bag every few days. It is very lightweight so it doesn't stress the cabinet door and the installation options were easy and ideal for our use.

I've had this for a little over a year and it's time I replace it. This is generally a very simple and reliable trashcan that is easy to use and easy to wash. The two issues I've had are 1. The cavity for the bench scraper has holes that open into the inside of the trashcan lid. This means moisture will collect in there and mold will grow. It's VERY hard to clean the interior of the lid. This is my biggest problem with the trashcan and if you buy one I highly recommend just filling in the gaps with a gluegun or something. Honestly this trashcan doesn't even need to come with a bench scraper I'm bummed Tiyafuro decided to include this instead of a flush lid... 2. After about 11 months of use one of the black hinge arms started to pop off its little plastic axle. This isn't a big problem, there's a gap in the middle of the axle piece and I am able to just wedge a little bit of plastic in there to keep the hinge arm on. Honestly besides this the hinge mechanism is very sturdy and reliable. TLDR: Good simple trashcan, but seal around the bench scraper to keep the trashcan from getting moldy.

I’ve been using this for a few days and it works great so far. The size is perfect for daily kitchen scraps and it fits nicely under my sink. The lid helps keep odors under control, which I really like. Easy to install and clean. Overall, very satisfied with this purchase.

Would recommend without reservation. Well designed and comes with spare parts, too! The glue backing is holding up after four months of warm (80-dgrees). Easy on-off the door to empty contents. Plastic bags a nice add/addition! Also fits produce bags from the grocery store, so win-win!

I have had this for nearly 2 years now and absolutely love it! After trying several other brands with fancy filters and designs that were always smelly and attracted fruit flies we decided to try this because at least it could be mounted on the cabinet door under the sink so the grossness would be out of view. But surprisingly, it is not smelly and doesn’t attract bugs!! The lid seals more securely than others. Very pleased and recommend this to friends so often that I decided to come back to write a review

I moved across country not long ago, and din't bring my metal bucket style counter compost bin with me. I decided I would get something new. It took a while and we had a glass bowl on the counter and regularly took it out. My hubby does a LOT of cooking, though, and sometimes the bowl would overflow just in the prep of 1 meal. He finally asked if we were ever going to get an actual compost bin again (oh, and he needed that bowl for cooking!). I had this in my saved for later for a while, and ordered it. We've been using it for about 2 months now, and it's great. The ease of the lid is fantastic, the fact that it hangs inside the cabinet and doesn't take up counter space is also amazing, and it holds....a lot. So much so, that if we cut onions when its nearly empty, so they're sitting there just kind of...marinating...it can get ripe far sooner than its full. But that's all good. We really do love it. We don't use the bags, we drop right into the container and wash after each emptying. 1 thing hubby didn't realize when he turned it over the first time...the lid piece isn't attached,and it fell right into the compost pile. It was a quick learning curve, though. This is easy to use, looks great, holds a lot, and is easy to clean. I highly, highly recommend it.

It’s nice and big , I like that it comes with bag even though it’s only for like two weeks depending on how much you cook . I don’t know how you’re supposed to keep the bag in place and that’s a bit of a problem for me. So if you could figure that out then you’re good

Exactly what I needed. I like being able to hang the bin on a cupboard door where I am chopping veggies and scrape the scraps straight in. No smell escapes the lid when inside the cupboard.
