I got this product because as a bleached blonde I’m looking at ways to heatlessly style my hair. I came across this product and thought I would give it a try. It is a little fiddly until you have got the hang of it and I found watching a few YouTube videos useful. A tip is that it seems to work best when you’re pulling smaller strands through. I used this product on towel-dried hair and left them overnight whilst I slept. In the morning I removed them (squeeze open the top and pull the hair through). Overall, the product is as described.

Actually surprised how good these are! I started with dry hair, ran wet hands through the ends and added a little mousse. My 8yo daughter actually put the curlers in (they’re that easy). Left them in for about 2 hrs whilst I did some housework then pulled them out and finger-combed my hair. Results in pics. Will be looking to get some longer ones for my daughter’s hair now.

Took a while to get the hang of, plus a bit of trial and error, but there are a few things to try and remember to do, which I will list below. I have fairly straight hair with a bit of a wave. I only used 2 sections of the hook as my hair is at the shorter length of the 55cm size I bought - I had no problems with the hook coming undone, and found it's sturdiness to be much better than what I was expecting. So...1. You'll need to get the spring as straight as possible on the hook handle - don't let it twist around it.2. Don't overload the hook with too much hair. You won't run out of springs - I had about 10 left over once I had finished, and I'm the person the hairdresser always says 'Oooh! You've got a lot of hair!; as they try to blow dry it.3. Pull straight upwards, so your hair length doesn't loop around the end of the spring as you try to pull it through - this is what makes it painful! It went much easier for me once I kept the hair being pulled through, parallel to the hair that was already in the spring (hope that makes sense).The only negative point I will make, is that it's really noisy when you have a head of plastic bobbling around - I can imagine it's how Medusa felt with all those snakes slithering about. I did take the springs out early - haven't been brave enough to sleep with them in yet as my other half will probably complain about the noise and banish me to the basement. Loved the result of the curls that were in for long enough and will definitely use again for nights out...whenever that happens again.

Love these heatless curlers. I have thin straight hair that when I curl it, it's straight again within a couple of hours. I put these in my wet hair and took them out when my hair dried, my curls lasted all day and looked so good.

Not long enough for long hair. Also more energy intensive than just using rags or curlers.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I don't often write reviews but I've been so blown away by these that I had to share. I've also ordered 2 more for my friends. It took me a minute to work out how do "install" them but one you get it, it's so easy. I'd recommend paying attention to the direction the tube things curl. I always curl away from my face. And this packet let's me do this as half the packet curls one way and the other half the other. I didn't have the best nights sleep but I think that was for other reasons. Overall I'm very impressed 👏🏼

I bought this product after looking for effective heat-free hair curling techniques, I have used the sponge roller/ noodle styled curlers in the past but have found them very finicky when trying to achieve consistent curls. These on the other hand have been great in consistency. They do take time to put in but I feel this is worth it so long as you are happy with the results.I have alot of hair and as such bought the largest curlers available (55cm I believe) and this was not long enough so I applied the curlers several inches from my root so that the remaining length of my hair from the ends were curled nicely. This may be partially what adds to the discomfot for me personally but also the weight of 36 of these in your hair does put considerable strain on your roots so those with thin hair or sensitive scalps I posisbly wouldn't recommend this product to.That being said I have really enjoyed using these and have even applied them to my older sister who was very keen to try them out for herself also. It is a fun and silly pop of colour while in, a bit distracting if you wish to spend the time doing something productive but if patient enough to let the item sit in your hair until fully dry provides excellent results for no heat.As the curlers are a mesh material if in a rush you can still dry your hair with a hair drier to speed up the process which was very useful for myself (using a cold air drier) as the curlers were agitating my roots the first time I applied them and I wished to remove them before heading to sleep so quickly dried my hair to help them along and the results were still very curly and bouncy.I do feel a curling/ texture holding hair product and conditioners/ oils are needed with this item to ensure hair stays healthy as the tool can be difficult to use if the hair begins to dry before in the curlers and could cause split ends if not careful.

Honestly so far not much luck. Using them on yourself is finicky and annoying, sometimes it makes your hair more tangled. I have tried with damp hair and dry hair. The damp hair did nothing while the dry hair had alittke more floof bit not fully curly. I dont suggest using it on we hair unless yoy have a dryer head bag that can contain it allOh and I got them thinking theu would be soft enough that it would be comfy to sleep in.. nope sleep feels impossible when your a walking dog toy
