U-LaceuLace Classic No Tie Shoelaces

These are useless for my purpose, they don’t make my sneakers any tighter than if I had no laces. They look nice and if your sneakers are super tight on your feet these will make the shoes more comfortable. If your sneakers fit properly when laced, these will probably prove to be useless for you. The manufacturer provides a variety of lacing patterns to provide a variety of tension, making them tighter or looser on your foot. That sounds great, but even using what they refer to as the tightest lacing pattern, my sneakers fall off of my feet when I walk. I bought them because I wanted to give my sneakers the no laces look, while still having something to hold the shoes on my feet. I tried every pattern they suggested, I even made up some of my own, but nothing did much of anything. There was a slight difference in the amount of slip with the different lacing patterns, but none of them made my shoes tight enough to stay on my feet. I don’t think it’s the shoe style, they’re the regular style (retro) of Tretorns, nothing freaky. They fit me fine when I lace them up, I was just hoping to achieve a laceless look. The lesson being, if you’re buying these to try to convert lace up sneakers into slip on sneakers, know that it probably isn’t going to work. If you are buying these to turn much too tight sneakers into shoes that fit more loosely, these are probably going to help.

Really want these to be great but they are not. The design does not work and the most limited testing would show that. They are so elastic that they won’t hold your feet in the shoe. The slightest move and your foot comes right out. Because they do not vary in size I don’t see how they would work even for people with larger feet. Frankly i don’t want to say these are a scam but they are not a vetted and tested consumer product. The high price point also suggests that being so far above market they are not trying to capture multiple purchase. I tried multiple configurations and am convinced these arenot viable consumer products.

I don't think these are designed for women's shoes. I put them in a pair of my tennis shoes and they look too thick. They looked dumb and clunky. Also, and I guess more importantly, I went for a quick walk in the park in these and the plastic that keeps them from falling out left me with painful wounds because they're long and the tongue of the shoes wasn't big enough to protect my feet. They do keep the shoes on snugly without being too tight (hence the 2 stars), but I will be returning to my traditional places until I find a better product.

These things are amazing! Totally worth the shipping cost. I’ve already converted 6 pairs of shoes with these things.It’s always been such a hassle coming home or going into other people’s houses and having to untie and then tie my shoes. They are perfect for casual wear, I probably wouldn’t suggest wearing them on running or workout shoes since those laces are needed for ankle support.Easy install, comes with a guide if you wanna get fancy but most of all they are convenient.

I love these things. My whole life I have hated tying my shoes so I’ve always had to tie knots and different things so I wouldn’t have to tie them and could just slip them on. These things were what I’ve been looking for my whole life.

These are the best laces on the market. All of the other ones have broken or didn’t fit well. These are awesome in my kids shoes as well as my own!!!

These are great. I bought for my grandson who has a disability and cannot tie his shoes. His parents would have to knot his laces about 3 times and they still looked sloppy. These were perfect. Took a while to get the right configuration that would work best but after that no problem.
