ISC Racer's Tape is a MUST and much easier to use than Shelter Tape
I did both new bike frames with a 3" x 30' roll and had plenty left over for other tasks. Take your time, do lots of measuring and round off all corners before applying. I wipe down the entire bike frame using isopropyl alcohol and use a soapy water solution with only 1 drop of Dawn to spray the frame section. This gives plenty of time for positioning. Use a small, firm rubber squeegee and microfiber cloth to dry and you'll be done in no time. The finished product is perfectly clear and adhered. This ISC tape is a must for all new bikes to prevent (MOST) chipping.

Versatile product to protect surfaces
I use this tape for a variety of purposes on my motorcycles for protecting paint surfaces on bags and anywhere I mount a switch, or a tie down strap might contact the paint when bike is being trailered. I also use it to reinforce plastic I wrap my screened porch with, for the winter. I reinforce the plastic with the tape where the screw are installed. it leaves no glue residue and can be removed off any hard surface at any time.A very versatile product.

Thick and stretchy
This beats the pre-cut rail tapes I've bought in the past in all ways but one: You have to measure and trim the end cuts to a round or bullet shape. My scissors didn't want to cut the stuff with the backing, but a utility knife was easy, and an Xacto might even be easier. I wiped my rails with rubbing alcohol on a rag, then sprayed them with a little trigger-spray bottle of water with a few drops of Dawn detergent, then began peeling and applying. My wife helped hold and pull the tape as I pressed out the bubbles and kept pressure on where I'd applied the tape. It didn't slide around like an icecube in mud (like previous tapes) and I just used my hands to push down the tape and down the curve of the rails. Never bothered with a blade or squeegee, but I did occasionally spray the top side so my hands slid more easily. Wiped the tape with a towel (helps to see any bubbles) and pushed those out easily. Flipped the board and did the other side right away; in past experience, I had to wait hours or overnight for the tape to grip well enough to do the second rail. I did two boards in about an hour including measuring and trimming four pieces, and I have leftover tape to use on the nose when I decide to devote more time. Saw a couple bubbles this morning and squeezed those out easily a full 16 hours after applying.

Sounded Good But Failed In Actual Use
I'm an experienced bicycle mechanic. I've bought pre-packaged, bicycle-specific frame saver products for decades to protect my frames from cable rub and chain slap prior to buying this product.I decided to give this product a try based on the description (bicycle use is listed as a viable application). I cut the tape with sharp scissors, prepped the areas with alcohol (yes, it dried), then applied the tape. After a little more than a month of very light use (still cold here) I noticed the tape that I had applied for cable housing rub was beginning to crease and lift in place. I'm assuming this is due to the rubbing friction from the cable housing. I peeled off all the tape from two bikes (~8, quarter-sized pieces) only to be left with sections of extremely thick and messy adhesive. It took an hour to remove it all with solvent. This has never happened with other products I've used.Back to bicycle-specific products. Couldn't return this because 30-day period had expired.Won't buy again and can't recommend.

Out of sight, out of mind
This tape has been a dream to use. It is incredibly easy to install offering great protection. It's invisible to the eye under normal inspection.

Worked perfect for SUP siderails and protection all around
This worked out amazingly well for putting all the way around my SUP! No longer worried about bumping the ground when carrying, approaching ground on lakes and rivers, or of course the paddle on the side rail.On my 11'6" board, I used a 7' strip for each side rail, and 27" strips back to the tail, a cut strip around the tail, and 18" strips from the side rail piece to the nose, and then a 20" piece that was cut to 1" wide in the middle and 2" at the ends stretched around the nose. Also 2 pieces cut to protect the deck of the nose. These got attached with soapy water and a plastic squeegee. There is quite a bit of stretch and bend ability when applying if you take your time. The stretch allows you to bend around the rounded edge top and bottom, or around the nose, and once on is virtually invisible!Gonna use some on the paddle neck where it bends and gets scuffed and scratched from being put down, too.I'll get more of this for car scuff areas, bike protection, etc!

Great product for the price
Easy install had some issues with bubbles appearing the day after and finger prints but that’s install error. For the price this beats all other ride wrap options imo
