Viper Evap+ Coil Cleaner & Deoderizer 1 Gal, Green (128 fl oz (Pack of 1))

This product is a bit expensive but it is the only solution I have found to remove dirty sock syndrome from my mini split ac. Just spray coil I use a pump sprayer DO NOT RINSE. After applying I leave it 24-48 hours without turning the AC on, it has removed bad smells every time. This is a life changer if your units are producing bad smell after turning on.

My heat pump evaporator coil had the dirty sock syndrome for several years when heat pump would reverse. Tried a different coil cleaner with no help. Added UV light on inside of coil V and it helped but never fully eliminated smell when heat pump reversed. I read an article that claimed this would eliminate it. Wow it certainly did. I sprayed the coils top and bottom and didn’t rinse, as instructed and the smell was gone. It’s been a month now and still winter with system reversing and still no smell. I highly recommend this.

Works well on my mini split ac unit to keep it clean and doesn’t smell horrible which is a plus!!!

I’ve never used a product like this before, so I don’t have any experience with it. However, our Daikin mini split, had a little bit of a smell to it that we believe was most likely some sort of mold growth… Sprayed the coils with this and the next day didn’t seem to smell…? So I suppose it worked.

Just finished using this product for the first time (and actually rinsed it) and we can't use the AC immediately after it has been cleaned because it has a chemical smell.We'll wait until tomorrow, but the NO ODOR and NO-RINSING statements are misleading.

Sprayed it as per instructions and it worked well

Sigh.....It didn't work for me, I tried it on my split mini indoor unit for DSS smell and it didn't work. DSS smell is still there along with a vomit smell. Gonna spritz the coils with distilled water to rinse off the product, hopefully a rinse will take the smells with it.Also super bad shipping job from the vendor, they used a box that was too small, and the top of the jug was sticking out of the box cover with lots of tape. surprised it didn't leak.
