Posh Glitter Coloring Book Secret Garden

This book is quite fun. It has glitter already embedded in each image. It's hard to see in the attachment, but all the areas that are very light contain the glitter. That is my one nitpick with the book. Each section with glitter will be a lot lighter than the plain areas so you kinda need to plan for that. This was my first image and I wasn't aware.There are a wide variety of nature images. They are stock images which may turn some people off. It isn't a problem for me personally.The images are single sided and the paper is not bad. They recommend alcohol markers or permanent markers for the best result. The glitter areas are quite textured and I think those areas would chew up colored pencils. I'm pretty sure the paper could withstand careful water media, but I don't know if that would wash out the glitter areas. I used alcohol markers on the attachment

This book is so much fun! It holds your interest as you color the pictures with water paint brushes. Perfect for any age. I personally think it would be a great gift for young children. I shared it with my teenage granddaughter and I enjoy it in my own spare time.

I'm going to gift this, so I can't speak to the quality of the glitter effect, but I flipped through the book, and really like the layout. They recommend permanent markers, so I was wondering if there would only be art on one side of each page, and that is indeed the case. I'd probably recommend sliding something under the first page you color with marker to make sure it doesn't bleed through to the page below it.

Beautiful coloring book, every illustration infused with light shimmer. I reordered!

It has taken me a while to find this colouring book. It not only has intricate and beautiful pictures, it has a white sparkle to some of the small areas. It is subtle and yet has a lovely effect. My kitchen has pictures coloured by my Daughter that are a delight, she has never gotten fed up or bored as she sees the picture grow more beautiful and it keeps her busy. She is an adult but a child would also love the book. It would make a fantastic present, even for people who rarely colour. And get some glitter pens, just to spice it up a bit!
