Excellent Rim Light Accessory
I purchased this flexible tube to convert my existing LED panel kit into a rim light. It was more cost-effective than buying a boom arm stand, and it worked like a charm! I think the reviews about stiffness are based on user error. Yes, the tubing is stiff, and it’s designed that way. Something more flexible probably couldn’t hold a 1-2lb+ light. More bend could also cause your stand to fall over. Pro tip: if you’re using a stand vs. a tripod, hand the bend toward one leg so the other two point away from it. That’s how I worked around the top factor. I highly recommend this product!

I thought it wouldn't bend - I was wrong!
This is perfect! It is very strong and stiff. I couldn't bend it with my hands. I was disgusted & almost sent it back, but decided to write the company because others seemed not to have any problem with it. They told me to mount it on the stand and the light, then grab the middle of the tube and the bottom to steady it and bend. Low & behold..... it worked! This is sturdy. I have no fear of my light being damaged due to a flimsy tube. Love it!

Yes.
Works good. Stiff. Using it on a desk mount to extend it horizontally 10". I'm shooting it out the side (has 3 places I can link stud) and it stays pretty much firm on a Neewer 660 PRO light (~5lb/2kg). Sags only a tiny little, but perfect for my use (wanted it down just a touch).

Good value, very stiff (but it has to be)
This "flexible" arm seemed a good value at first, but then I thought that it was much too inflexible for it's main intended use. However, I later realized that it really needs to be this stiff in order to hold up the weight of the LED ring light. You do really need to grip it and use a lot of force in order to change it's position, which is the downside of the required stiffness. It is not a perfect solution by any means, but it does hold the ring light in position. And due to the weight of the ring light (at least the 18" version), I don't see a better solution.,note: I did try a Manfrotto 237HD Heavy-Duty Flex Arm, but it could not hold the ring light in place at a right-angle. A shorter version of it (it is 21") might have worked better.

Completely useless unless you need a steel pole with zero flexibility.
The lack of flexibility on this is absurd. I had to bend it against a table to get any play whatsoever; if it were on a light stand there's no way you could get more than the tiniest of curves to happen. To call it "flexible" is wholly untrue. Don't buy it unless you just need a solid extension only, you likely won't be able to get more than a 2-4% variance once it's on a stand.

Best addition to my ring light
This fits on my ring light that isn’t by this brand so it should fit on most all of them! This is the best thing I’ve bought for my ring light because it starts getting really not sturdy after a while but this keeps it from making my light fall over. It also extended it so it’s right in the middle of their face when doing their lashes so it’s perfect! Best thing I’ve bought in so long

Perfect for led panels
I bought this gooseneck arm to mount my LED panel I use as a key light on top of my desk mount pole for lights. I have been using a clamp that has a joint in the middle and though it’s worked okay it sometimes would fall under the weight of the panel and looked a bit ugly for my desk setup. This gooseneck gives me a clean look and stays wherever you put it. Very rigid. Even holds the LED soft box with ease!

Very strong but.....
It is made very well and very solid however, it does not bend anywhere near how the ad shows it. You will need 2 hands and with very strong grip to bend even a fraction of the way. This is not an easy move around as one would think.. Get this set where you want it and don't plan to even attempt to move it again without hitting the gym first. Quality is good, advertising is VERY deceptive which leaves usefulness limited a great deal.
