UPDATE 11/21: the REAL Kate Spade watch band has fallen apart after <6 months of non-daily use. I wore it infrequently and am very gentle with my things. Feels substantial and looks nice, but not durable at all.I purchased this watchband and assumed what I received was real. The box it came it had been opened, but the watchband appeared legitimate. Over the next week of wearing it, I noticed it continually came unlatched, allowing my Apple Watch to fall off of my wrist. I asked Amazon for a replacement, assuming it was defective. But when I got the replacement, I realized it was TOTALLY DIFFERENT than the band I originally received. See pictures: the real KS band (on left) is stamped on the rear with their logo and ‘stainless steel’. The fake band (on right) is not stamped at all. The links of the real (left) vs counterfeit (right) band are different widths and the quality of the latches differ. And, the real band from KS is much heavier. The latches feel much more substantial and secure. AND it fits my wrist better. So glad I got the real thing. Beware of counterfeit products being sold here!

The watch band can have links removed to adjust for size. Unfortunately, the manufacturer, does not include instructions. On the Kate Spade website, there also are no instructions. Many websites told me to go to a jewelry store. DO NOT!! It is easy to adjust with NO TOOLS! (again, a simple insert, comments on the box, or even a picture of how to do it would have saved me over 1 hour of attempts, google searches, etc. The secret to adjust is this: turn the watch band over (much easier to do this when it is not attached to the watch) on the back side of the first 4 links on each side of the clasp you can see a hinge. Turn the band over to the front side, tilt the hinge up so you can, with a fingernail, pop open the hinge. To close, just snap it shut. No tools needed.

I’ve been eyeing this one for quite some time, but was nervous about purchasing it based on some reviewers having difficulty adjusting the band size. If that’s holding you back, have no fear, it was extremely easy to adjust. I really love the way this looks, it’s such an improvement on the silicone band that comes with the watch. Absolutely gorgeous!

I was stunned at how unattractive this was. It was clunky and it is a very shiny “version” of the Apple Watch rose/gold which didn’t make sense on my wrist. It looked a bit confusing. I’m a huge Kate Spade fan but this was extremely disappointing, especially for the price.

Super unhappy about about this product. The description on the item I bought stated rose gold & the picture is rose gold. It wasn’t supposed to arrive until Thursday, glad it game two days early as I now have to return this product. Not sure how you manage to send a black band on a rose gold item.

I was very excited to receive this watch band, and took it out of the box and immediately started trying to adjust the links according to the instructions on the back. Much to my surprise, a piece (unrelated to an adjustable link) popped right out and fell on the floor--and is now impossible to get back together. I've already processed the return and this product is going right back. I'm very disappointed in what I thought was going to be a high-quality product, especially for the price.

I treated myself to this designer band, and I’ve tried it out enough that I can’t return it. I’m really disappointed with it. My wrist is between the adjustable link sizes and there’s no way to adjust the clasp to account for that. If I keep it on the larger side, which is more comfortable, the Apple Watch sensors don’t have contact with my wrist and don’t work properly. I’m going to have to take it to a jeweler if I want it to be functional, which is an added expense over the already high price tag. Overall, not a winner.

I’m very petite and even with removing 3 links this still fits perfectly- not too tight or loose which is usually a problem for me. The color is a true rose gold and it is very comfortable. I like the vents so that my skin has some breathability. I don’t believe it is too clunky. I think it’s really quite beautiful and elegant. Much nicer than the band it comes with. I think it dresses it up perfectly. If it scratches I’ll update review.

I really love the look of the watchband. It’s got a very nice finish, smooth & shiny. I had to remove some links, fits well. It is a very solid and heavy band. It is expensive but I think it will last a long time and hold up we’ll to long term wear. If you have a petite waist this may not be ideal for you since it is a solid band on the heavier side.

This watch band is very classy and looks fabulous with my Apple Watch! Figuring out how to take links off to size it was a bit of a challenge but so easy once I figured it out. Each link snaps open individually near the clasp for easy removal. I’ve gotten many compliments and I highly recommend this. Excellent quality!

Matches really nice to the rose gold Apple Watch I have. Was easy to size to my whist as well. I don’t like that it’s hard it to unlatch and that sometimes I need help to take my watch off. It seems like the design would be better if the little hook was on the other side of the band. I still like the overall look of it.

Looks terrific. Definitely was enjoyed as a gift. When it’s on it looks great but it’s somewhat difficult to put on.

Very nice, high quality bracelet. Get tons of compliments on it. If you’re considering it, just get it! It’s way nicer than the other ones out there!
