Heavy Duty Lock Pin for Hitch Rack
I never bothered getting a locking hitch pin previously as I only had the hitch bar and ball to be stolen from my pickup. However, I recently bought a rack to go behind my SUV and realized that with the simple pull of the standard pin, someone could make off with the entire rack. This would amount to a much more significant investment. I looked into the pins on offer and selected the Cocoweb C-Lock Heavy Duty Hitch Pin. I have the one in black. The finish is nice, it is strong, well made and has a cap to seal the lock mechanism from the elements. The keys work easily. When I go into a store leaving the car and rack in the parking lot, I am a lot more comfortable knowing it should take someone a lot of effort to remove the pin. With the standard pin it would literally take seconds to steal the rack. Not now. Well worth the peace of mind. Relative to corrosion from road salt and similar, I can't say, but anything like this on a vehicle needs to be removed and cleaned on a regular basis and especially after exposure to road salt. I don't really think it could be better made, it looks and feels top quality.

Exactly What I Wanted and Needed...
Put this on my 2016 Chevrolet Colorado and it's holding down my hitch cover. It seems like there's maybe an inch or so of excess (half on either side)... but it works well enough and was incredibly easy to lock and unlock. I didn't hear any noises or notice any wear from the pin being slightly too large. But then I'd rather have it be a tad larger than a tad smaller and not work. Sorry Tacoma users... buy a Chevy next time (haha). The sole purpose for buying this one was the key locking mechanism. Which is flawless. Not a single problem there. The key is a decent enough size that it fit well on my keychain but didn't add too much bulk to it. I appreciate that.

Does What It's Supposed to at a Great Price
This trailer hitch lock performed just fine for a 1,600 mile trip with our camping trailer last month. It's a little loose and rattly in the locking hole, but it does the job just fine. We used this primarily when leaving the trailer at the campsite or when sightseeing with it in tow, and it performed well. If you are really concerned about 100% guaranteed safety while hauling, just use a standard pin for that, and save this for when you need to securely lock the trailer.

Unit arrived in good condition. I checked out the keys to be sure they worked. They both slipped right in and released the lock, but when I tried to remove the key while in the locked position, the key would not come out. After much effort, turning, and wiggling, the first key came out. I tried the second key with the same results. I added a little lubricant to the keyhole and worked both keys in and out of the lock for about 5 minutes. After this exercise, both keys worked smoothly in the locked and released position. I can only hope there are no long term issues with the lock being in the weather when it is used for pulling the trailer.

Fits Curt 13119 hitch perfectly.
This arrived on time and well packaged. It fits perfectly on the Curt trailer hitch for my Honda CR-V, is easy to operate and looks terrific. The plastic cap does a nice job of covering and protecting the key slot. It is heavier than I expected, and clearly is quite substantial. Nice handsome black product that looks just right.

Good pin for the price and will provide years of service with a minimum amount of care.
Fits 2" Class IV receiver with 5/8" diameter pin opening on a Dodge Ram with about 3/8" extra space (see pictures). I plan on cutting a small section of rubber hose to fill the gap. Overall there's about 2-3/4" between the lock and the fixed end when locked, so it's the right length for most Class IV receiver tubes. If you have a receiver that uses welded plates to attach the receiver tube to the drawbar, like some cheaper made OEM and aftermarket hitches, then this maybe too short for your vehicle. Not as difficult to lock/unlock or install as some reviews on here suggest. Remember it's a hitch pin and it should spin when installed if there is no friction on the receiver. As with any other mechanical fastening device that is exposed to the elements, it needs some occasional preventative maintenance (like lubricating the lock tumblers and spraying the pin with some corrosion preventative) in order for it to not rust and work properly. It's weather resistant, not weather proof, so if you install it and forget about it, then expect to have problems when trying to removing it months later.Bottom line this a good pin for the price and will provide years of service with a minimum amount of care.

Great lock out of the box
Sturdy and looks great. I love that it is so compact for a locking pin. Others have complained that it is too short - I can't imagine that since it fits my Curt Class III hitch with plenty of slack. Can't answer to durability or security; will update if it ever turns out to be garbage.
