Great content and a recommended buy - but the ebook text is problematic
This is a wonderful book and highly recommended. Gail's approach has always been different from the mainstream and that's why I like it.I do have one bone to pick with the publisher/producer online copy editor of the ebook edition.Infuriatingly, the punctuation drops out on most of the text. The periods simply disappear. That may sound trifling, but it's extremely irritating, because it interrupts the reader's flow. I haven't finished this yet, and have been reading it on an iPad. I have tried changing the font size to see if it drops out when you embiggen the font. Unfortunately, no - the periods do not appear.I have done my fair share of copy editing in my professional life, and when I see gross mistakes in copy over and over again, even missing periods, I wonder if content has dropped out as well. One period here and there, well, ok. But multiple missing periods per page? Grrrrr. Sloppy! Greater care is given to print books, but online text still remains problematic. It's not Gail's fault, as she likely relinquished her control over the text - however, the content is worth the aggravation. But be warned!

Very informative
A friend recommended it. I like that it doesn’t give the typical answers I can find on Google

Great little tarot book for learning to read the tarot.
Great little tarot book with lots of information. It has upright & reversed meanings of all the major & minor arcana. Plus the neural, positive & negative meaning of both the major & minor arcana. Designing layouts and help with the reading process & ways to use the cards. I purchased it specifically to go with my Everyday Tarot cards, but it can be used with any tarot deck. Highly recommended for learning tarot cards, the meaning of and structure of the tarot. It's a good book for beginners or seasoned readers alike.

A good general purpose help for readers of any deck.
Choice Centered Tarot is a book I've used for years but somehow lost my copy so I bought another. With all the creative and widely different Tarot decks out these days Gail Fairfield's work is a general purpose explanation of how and why Tarot works along with help in interpreting your readings. Its a good book for beginners just learning Tarot and a reference work for people like me who have been reading Tarot for decades. All the new creative decks come with a little book of the artist's interpretation, but often the reader sees something else in a particular reading or in some of the cards. Choice Centered Tarot helps to interpret your readings which may be different from the artist who created your particular deck.

... when I first started my tarot journey but so glad I got it now
I wish I would have known about this deck when I first started my tarot journey but so glad I got it now. It’s easy to read and straight to the point. Great for beginners or intermediates. Has a great section on numerology so if you are starting to read with pipe decks, this one is a great jumping point from RWS system.

Best Tarot book I've ever read.
THis is hands down the best basic structure you can use to build good Tarot reading habits. Number, Suit, Card orientation (upright or reversed) and positive/negative slant is all it uses. It doesn't even get into the picture on the card. This is invaluable because you can use it with any deck, especially pip decks. Use that as a basic layer and then apply any variances of picture, question and layout position. The best Tarot book I've ever read, and I've read hundreds.
