Good stretching machine
Good for stretching at the end of a training session. I usually sit in front of the tv and stretch for a few min at a time. My flexibility has increased and so has my range of motion. Definitely recommend.

Lasted almost 2 years, then permanently broke. Find something better.
It worked for almost 2 years. Then the crank would grind and not move the legs apart. I took the front panel off and a lot of ball bearings fell out. I could see that a bearing broke apart on the gears. There's no way to fix it, so it's junk. Don't waste your money. Find another brand with a higher rating and reviews.

Good but with a mechanical mistake
At first, the machine usage was deffective. The post that is connected to the wheel kept skipping the motion transfer to the gears, and since I bought it from abroad and the return would be a hastle,I decided to unscrew it and see what's wrong. It turned out that the problem resides in the 2 upper screws that are fixing the gear box to the upper base , they were too tight. And since the gear box roof is far from the upper base, the screws were causing tension against the gearbox connecting screws -which have a remarkbly smaller size- causing the gear box to gap apart and causes the skip in motion under pressure. Once I tightened the gearbox connecting screws and untightened the screws that are connecting the gearbox to the base, It worked flawlessly .. I hope it lasts. It's an easy thing for the manufacturer to fix if they just payed attention, as apparently this is a repeated complaint.

Perfect, study, strong.
I purchased this to stretch for my sportIts sturdy, solid, simple, almost completely put together in the box. Welds are solid. Gets the job done. Wheel and casters work fine and are not cracked. It's stable and balanced.I am 5'8.5" with 30" leg inseam 31". This padding sits right at my knee. The back support is angled backwards and minimal, so I put it against a column. And the designers were thoughtful to add a plastic bit to the backpad T support so there is no exposed hole; however, it is not in line with the rear foot vertically (see image) but it works fine if put a thick felt back at the rear foot so it doesn't damage the wall, or in this case my trim. If you add felt to the rear foot and the T support like I did, it could rest against the wall and the trim perfectly. The seat can be lowered flat to stretch the adductors in a supine position, so you have supine and seated position.Although you would need to put something behind it to lay down, since the pad is raised off the floor.I was apprehensive about this purchase, since other brands have mixed or poor reviews. This one is solid.

cheap AF but functional
lol it is not "heavy duty." I'm not convinced it's worth $150. That said, it does do what it says it does and was also very easy to put together. Components are so cheap my guess is that this will not last more than a year with daily use. I suspect the first thing to go would either be the mechanism/gear that spreads the legs or just one of the legs bending. The legs also don't separate uniformly but it still pushes you into the right position. Also, if you're planning on using it to do isometric stretches ala Pavel Tsatsouline or Thomas Kurz, I don't know if it could take it. I'm planning on using relaxed stretching until I get to a range where my strength is really low and then using isometrics from there in the hope that it's less stressful to the unit. It is fairly comfortable like they say. It also comes with a few straps for supplemental stretching which I appreciate. Would be just right for kids, I reckon, though putting a kid in this thing might be considered child abuse in some states.
