Has anyone tried these on induction range cooktops to keep your pots and pans from sliding and surface scratches while cooking?

As these are made of felt they should not be placed on any burner. We use All Clad pots and pans on our glass cooktop with no evidence of any scratching.

Where are these made?

I don't know what the exact fabric is called but they are a very thick, stiff type of a felt feeling fabric. They are very durable and the fabric is much thicker than a simple piece of felt. I really like them as they are great protection for my pans.
