Unreliable
It worked well at the beginning, but a few weeks later it locks up the car, but can hardly unlock doors anymore. I have re-paired the ring several times and it is still hit or miss. Must carry alternate way of opening the car, because it is very unreliable.

Finicky
The fit and finish is great and the ring does work as intended. But the ring has to be positioned just right (see pictures in the listing), not too close, not too far, not parallel, not perpendicular, but just right. It usually takes me several tries. I cannot find a better alternative right now, so I'm keeping it, but I wish I could use it over a broader area, like with the original key card. Before buying, I bought a cheap ring sizer (looks like a wire tie) from Amazon. That was helpful. After buying, the first thing I noticed was the Tesla logo is very small and barely noticeable. If I had to buy again, I would not bother getting the logo. But I definitely would buy again.

Convenient. Works well. Looks nice.
This is great. I park my car outside in the driveway and leave it locked. Often times I will want access to the car for various reasons and not necessarily for the purpose of driving somewhere so I don't have my phone on me. I wear this as my wedding ring so it's always with me. Very convenient and it looks nice as well. This ring works as intended and is easy to set up. I would recommend it.TIP: If your ring isn't recognized when you put the ring at the "sweet spot" on the pillar just push in on the locked door handle as if to open the door. Of course it won't open because it is locked but it "wakes" the car and it will now recognize the ring when placed at that "sweet spot" on the pillar.

Must-have if you surf, kayak, paddleboard, swim or jog ect.
Like me, you may leave your car without your phone, without your wallet and without your purse when you go on adventures. If fitted properly, this ring stays with you always. I ordered two different ring sizes just to get the perfect fit, then returned one with no problem. It doesn't use batteries. It's waterproof. It's as hard as zirconia diamonds. You never have to think about it while wearing it.Imagine, no more leaving your keyfob under the tire, behind the mud flaps or under a rock somewhere. All your other valuables can now be locked safely in the frunk. This is most secure because thieves can not get into the frunk from inside the passenger compartment of the car, if you use a PIN but don't forget to turn off your phone's bluetooth if you leave your phone in the car.To use the ring correctly just follow these flawless steps and it will unlock every time:1. Move ring as close as you can behind the 2nd knuckle of your middle finger.2. Only bend your fingers at the second knuckle. Do not make a fist.3. Place the front of your second knuckle to left center of the door pillar below the camera.*Some other variations may work for you but the open part of the ring must be very close, parallel to and open facing the pillar. Seems tricky at first but you will get used to it in no time.

Did not work for me
I tried 3 different rings with no success. There was an update in between that might have made this an issue.

The ALWAYS Accessible Tesla Key
I now consider this an essential Tesla accessory. While my iPhone pairs with my Model 3, and is semi reliable in opening the door from my left back pocket, there are simply too many times the car doesn't respond. I have to take out my phone and wake the screen. Then there are the times in in the driver's seat and the car wants me to touch my Tesla card to the center console. Suffice it to say the ceramic ring looks gorgeous and is always easily available on my right ring finger, perfect for unlocking driver door and using left hand for mechanism. The icing on the cake is approximating the ring under the lip of the console armrest to dispel pesky 'Touch Keycard' messages! Love it.Note: when you see people complain the ring doesn't work or stops working, they don't understand the technique, expecting instantaneous unlock. Rest bent knuckles on door pillar and pause 1 or 2 seconds. Bam. Mirrors rotate out and door unlocks reliably. Take a breath and relax. It works and you'll grow to really appreciate it.

Works mostly well but not perfect
Ring works well and generally does what it’s supposed to. It usually will not work while you’re wearing it though. I usually have to take it of my finger and place it directly in on the B-Pillar of the car to get it to work. Very hard to get it to work while you’re wearing it. But still meets my needs which is to get me out of a bind if my phone ever dies or if I don’t want to carry my phone with me. Also, it’s still cool when you tell people your ring is also your car key..egh, impresses some people I guess.

There’s only one
Despite the picture showing TWO rings, this is only ONE ring.I measured my finger, and it was bigger than the largest size. So I got the largest size, and it’s too big.Update: it fits perfectly on my middle finger, which is where I would now prefer it anyway. The ring unlocks the car reliably once you figure out exactly where to put it. I marked it on my car with a sharpie, which you can’t really see from a distance. (See pictures.)Just be ready to exchange for a different size, since I’m not sure about how accurate their sizing is.I dropped my ring onto gravel, and I don’t see any damage. The logo is invisible unless you get it in just the right lighting.I had some worry the ring might slip off when wet, but it’s actually harder to remove when wet.

Convenience on your finger
UPDATE: After one year of minor use the ring will NO LONGER unlock or lock the door, a few months ago this stopped working, as the use of this ring was minimal the exact time it stopped working could have been after an update months ago. I have deleted from the car and reinstalled a few times, it reinstalls the ring after a few tries but it will not lock or unlock the doors, positioning on the B Pilar in all areas and on or off the finger, it will not recognize it. Original key cards and phones still work flawlessly, I have reached out to help from the original purchaser but received a reply from Amazon that they are no longer part of the Amazon store and my message cannot be sent. The ring is in great shape with no damage (used and worn minimally) It’s a great idea and was very handy for the first few months I was able to use it but for the price it should last longer than a few months. Beware of where you purchase from as they may no longer exist in the Amazon store and your out of luck to have repaired or replaced.I want to give a true review of this purchase. First, the seller (whose company name made me wonder, as it’s a little distrusting of a name) was very quick to ship the product, it arrived within a week. I’m in Canada so duty was on top of the price listed. The first ring did not work, I tried everything and watched all videos on programming. The seller was quick to reply to me on the issue and sent me a few different instructions to try but to no avail. I requested I could do the return and try again, they decided to just replace and have me dispose of the first one, within the week I had the replacement and it worked first time when programming. They saved me returning and reordering, Thankyou. The seller refunded the duty paid on the first ring also. Great seller to deal with in my experience and we are on different time zones, there are always one off issues with every product as nothing is perfect in manufacturing of goods, it’s how they deal with that defect as a company that makes the difference. The ring works as it should, you find the right spot and it opens, sometimes it’s best to push on the door handle to wake the car then touch by the piller to unlock, keeping in mind the card has the wire along the outer edge covering a much larger space then the ring can cover, so you may need to move it a few times to get the right spot to open. But now I always have a key on my finger in case the phone is not nearby or in case of a battery drain ect. Great when going to a beach ect and you don’t want to carry your phone there. Great when you go to wash your car and forget your phone inside. It still is holding up fine with everyday wear for months now. Very happy with the purchase.

Works most of the time but a little pricey.
Works most of the time. I lost my wallet in the past with my Model 3 RFID keycard in it. This is a good backup option if that were to ever happen again. Looks good and functions about 3/4 of the time on first try placing it near the B-pillar where the car detects the RFID chip. Would have given 5 stars if it worked 100% of the time on first try.
