Aunt Martha's Hot Iron Transfers #4015 Adorable Puppy

I CaN’T believe I found these!! Thank you AMaZoN!♥️♥️♥️ i inherited a few sets of flour sack dish towels that my Grandma embroidered when she was a young lady. I believe it was in the 1930-40’s - LONg ago! I fell in love with them when I was a tiny girl while watching her work in the kitchen. When they were handed down to me when I started my family they were a bit worn - I knew they were not going to make it to my children for them to have when they started their families. Still, I couldn’t resist the comfort they filled me with as I used them to care for my family. I would picture her as a young lady, and imagine the excitement she felt while creating each towel, dreaming about her future as a wife and mother. I could feel her presence. I held onto the embroidered pictures after the towels became tattered and could no longer be used. She remained with me!Fast forward to my babies becoming adults and beginning their careers and families. I wanted to recreate the patterns so I could gift my children like my grandmother had to me. I thought I was imagining things when I found on Amazon what I believed to be the same as envelope that remained with my grandma’s embroidery thread. I was shocked! I scrolled through the various packages of patterns and could not believe my eyes when I came upon a picture that felt very familiar. I searched for the scraps of fabric that remained of my childhood towels, discovering that the patterns I found weren’t just similar, but the exact ones my Grandmother had used nearly a century ago!!! I immediately purchased them and can’t wait to get started on a fresh batch of flower sac dish towels for each of my three children. Quality Company! So grateful for Amazon!!

Aunt Martha's is one of my favorite products to buy because the company that make these transfers is an American family run company (Colonial Arts) and purchasing their products doesn't mean settling.It's hard to see in the pictures of the product but this particular series of transfers is tableau's of approximately 3 or 4 x 5 or 6 inches. They are mostly line drawn and do include some crosshatching designed to be worked as cross stitch which is mostly used for shading. All of the designs have a day of the week written beneath them but it's easy to snip away the lettering as I did to use them on pillow cases or other textiles.I have transferred some already and can tell you that I have never had a bad experience transferring Martha's designs and this was no exception. I usually can get a good 4 transfers from a design.Very pleased.
