Q: Advertisement is confusing if it come with the center grate or not?

Hello. We sell them either with or without the center grill grate. Some people want it, others do not. That's why we make it optional. The one you're looking at includes the center grill grate.

Q: Is this a chacoal grill?

This particular insert is for the big green egg / Kamado / acorn style of grills. Most people use charcoal and chunks of various wood kinds for flavor. Note: Arteflame insert are accessories to these grills, the grill itself is NOT included.

Q: Where does the grease go? Where does it run off too?

You will find that most of the grease / juices stay on the flat cooktop and the food sizzles to perfection in it's own juices. If there is excess, like when grilling lots of bacon, there will be excess grease that drips into the fire. I usually scrape it into the center as I turn over and work the bacon. This way it just burns off.

Q: Will this fit a large BGE or is there a another size that fits better?

This fits our large egg but would also work on a smaller one also. When we purchased the griddle it was the only size available.
