Amazon lists this under “Often bought together” with the Gerber E-Tool. Nice cover but it’s way too small and snaps won‘t close by 1/2”. There’s no return - seller gets to unload these on unsuspecting Amazon customers.

Works great with Gerber NATO Folding Shovel if you add some 1” snap extensions. Those snap extensions are available here on Amazon for use on boat covers. With those nylon snap strap extensions, the case closes over the shovel. Nice heavy case.

I didn't read the description well enough so I was a bit disappointed to see it is an ALIcE pouch. That's on me, I was hoping for MOLLE. Anyway, the pouch is well made, military issue type stuff. My shovel fits in it but the lid doesn't quite close as my shovel is too big. It's probably just not 80's USGI. Again my bad not the pouches "fault."

Good to have for any kind of E-Tool style folding shovel. Will not fit the Gerber E Tool as the handle of the Gerber is a bit too large. You can easily cut/rivet/ new snaps in there if you want too. Or what I did, pop two holes in it and string a piece of bungee with hooks and there you go.

Got this for the Gerber trench tool/shovel. As suggested by another reviewer you need 1in extended boat strap. Worked like a charm. No complaints really. Not that expensive for both and came in relatively in good time.

This is a quality shovel sheath that fits collapsible e-tools. Attaches via an ALICE system, but would work with MOLLE as well. Do note that it won't fit thicker e-tools, found this out by trying to shove my Gerber in it and it not going in all of the way.

Bought this for our recovery shovel and I was pleasantly surprised. The price is decent for what you get, the material a rubber like, soft plastic. Not really sure what it really is, but it feels okay, especially for the price. So, recommended!

I am giving it 5 stars because it technically does fit the original type E-Tools, but NOT the Gerber E-Tool. I am going to modify it with two additional male snaps and it should close just fine.
