You get what you pay for, this isn't a celluloid tortoise shell pickguard, so it's not going to look anywhere near as nice as the more expensive ones. It looks okay though, especially for the price.

Fits perfectly on my 2017 Fender P-Bass. Added a much needed face-lift after the old pickguard started to warp. The screws that came with it also fit perfectly and easy to install. All around solid product. Would recommend!

This music Lily pickguard, is pretty decent for the money. The mounting holes line up fairly well, but depending on the model of P base like Squier or fender, you may have to cut out a little material around the pickup itself.All in all, it has a good look cosmetically, and a nice three-ply construction seems fairly solid. It even has a small bit of shielding on the back of the pickguard. I would definitely recommend this for a cosmetic upgrade, as it looks very nice once installed. Thanks again amazon!

I put this guard on a Squire PJ bass. The screw holes lined up great. As others have noted, the cutouts for the pick ups had to be widened slightly. A minor inconvenience for the money saved compared to buying Fender brand.

Installed the pickguard on my MIM P Bass, everything lined up.

Pickguard is great for the price, delivery was careless.For the price these pickguards are good, very little fitting required.The problem I had was it came with a gash in the package like someone had carelessly cut it with a box cutter.I had to fit it to the bass before taking off the protective plastic to see if that cut went all the way through.It had, so the owner of the pickgurads agreed to send me back some of the cost of the pickguard.Full return would have been more acceptable.So I never used that pickguard and ordered another from another company.That pickguard will be part of an Art piece I am making so it will still be usefull to me.I will say though as long as you get yours and the packege is not damaged I would say they are worth using.

Not a huge fan on anodized gold, so this flat black P Bass pickguard is more my style. Even has foil shielding underneath where it matters. Fit bass and pickup perfectly, no modifications.

For the price you can't ask for more really. Its not perfect but you cant expect that for the low cost. Unlike others mine fit over the pickups perfectly. There were 3 our of 13 holes misaligned to the original Fender/Squier ones I've had however. But this is manageable if you know how to fill opd holes and drill new ones. Honestly really happy with this, especially at the price it costs.

The Matte Black version fit perfectly on my 2019 MIM Fender P Bass. It contrasts nicely with the gloss black body. The pickguard had a perfect finish and shipped with a protective peel off layer. The underside has foil shielding covering the volume, tone and jack. A pack of screws was also included in the package.

I added this pickguard to a Chinese Squier P Bass. It arrived promptly and came with a transparent film cover, which I removed. I needed to do a bit of filing around the pickups to get the guard to fit. I used the old pickguard as a template. As long as you are handy with a file and are patient you can save yourself a bit of money fitting this yourself. I did end up putting cocktail sticks in some of the holes, and reseating the screws, otherwise they can go in off centre. I didn't even have to remove the strings. I was quoted $120 fitted so to get this for under $30, I consider it a worthwhile purchase and would definitely buy from them again. It's much nicer then the original one ply pickguard.
