Comfortable
Buyer for a Ducati Multistrada and after few adjustments I am definitely giving it five star. It really improves comfort and riding experience. I have it fully inflated and to me it works best in this condition.

Try this before buying a new seat
Before I added the Airhawk Dual Sport , could only ride about 50 miles before the seat on my Buell Ulysses started really started paining me. I had already purchased a second seat and it really didn't help much. I think the riding position had alot to do with it, but I had made all the modifications I could in that area So ordered and recieved the airhawk the following day. Just returned from riding in 90 degree weather and never have felt this good. It really does work ! My seat comes off easily, so installation was a breeze. Followed the directions for inflation and off I went. At first It felt strange, and wasn't too sure I was going to like it. But after stopping and adjusting the air a few times, I finally felt I had gotten the right air pressure for me. Like a lot have folks have stated, IT TAKES A VERY SMALL AMOUNT OF AIR TO WORK ! Too much and it's no good.

Nice cushion. Well-made. Pays to fiddle with air pressures.
I bought this out of curiosity, fully expecting also to try a sheepskin and some roller beads too. People seem either to love these cushions or they just don't. I had no idea what to expect when I tried it out for the first time, and I was disappointed. It's not like sitting on a magic carpet. But, that's not really the point. I have a few hundred miles on mine now, and I've come to love and appreciate it. First, you have to fiddle with air pressures a bit to get it set up properly for your body. Less air is generally better than more. Once you've done that, that magic of this thing isn't that you feel like you're in a comfy lounge chair; it's that after two hours on your bike you don't feel like you're sitting on a rock. I like mine and use it all the time. If you buy one, take the time to fiddle with air pressures until you get it where you like it. Then, don't judge it based on a ride around town. Get out on the road and do a few hundred miles, and then be amazed that your butt isn't killing you. I ride a 2015 Kawasaki Versys 1000LT. The riding position is pretty upright. I'm a tall guy, and I've adjusted the bike so it fits me well to start with. If you throw this cushion on a bike expecting it to fix basic ergonomic problems, or if you expect it to do something special on trips around town, you may be disappointed. If you like to get on a well set up bike and do a few hundred miles at a time, you may really appreciate it. This cushion gets four stars from me. It's well-made, but at $108 it's a pricey gamble for most folks. At $69.95 it would be a five-star no-brainer.

Great product. Battle-tested on rough 10-day adventure ride. For best comfort don't over-inflate!
I purchased this before leaving on a 10-day/1,900-mile trip on an adventure bike. I mention the bike type because this seat survived not only pavement but also dirt, rock, bike drops, stick/branch pokes and foul weather. I am certain I would not have enjoyed the trip nearly as much without this product, it really spared me some serious tailbone pain and other rear-end discomfort. We averaged 100+ miles for 10 straight days. Be advised to really get the most out of this product is to have it barely inflated. You don't want to over-inflate, as it will be too hard and not provide anything better than the seat. Anything in the middle will feel squishy and you'll feel yourself sliding side-to-side and front-to-back and air relocating to different areas of the air bag. Just the right amount of air will give you maybe 1/4" of air cushioning off the seat surface. I bought the dual-sport model so I could use on both my KTM 450EXC dirt bike and my KTM 950 Adventure. It looks more like the shape of a cruiser saddle, but worked great on my ADV. Have not tried it yet on the EXC.

Didn't provide more comfort for me.
The product is made well. On a sport bike for me it didn't provide any more comfort. Too much air and you're "wobbly" on your seat in addition to adding too much height. It should be barely inflated to get the best result I think. However for me, barely inflating it offered more relief on a bump but no more comfort after an hour ride. And in fact caused discomfort on the very insides of my legs. I'm not a big fan of this air type padding because the air moves around inside from front to back and side to side, and is more pronounced the more air is added. I think I'm going to look for more of a gel type setup next. I'm 6 ft 200lbs so maybe this just isn't suitable for my build.

Saved my keester on long weekend ADV trip
I put this on my DRZ400SM for a long weekend up in the Smokey Mountains. Anyone who's ever sat on an OEM dirt bike seat knows it's akin to a rough prostate exam after about an hour. This made my seat and all day throne. The only issue I have is those straps that go under the seat. Yes, they work, but it's wise to remove the Airhawk overnight so it's not wet in the morning and the straps can retract under the seat and be a pain to get back out unless you remove the seat again. Perhaps I'm using them too tight, but it keeps the Airhawk centered during use.

Well made and works great
Only seat cushion I could find that actually works for my skinny butt!

Didn't live up the claims.
4 day / 1300 mile trip planned, so decided to pick the AirHawk DS to help me get a couple of more hours a day of seat time. Used it on day one and by mile 200 my backside was talking. By 300 I was in agony and danced in my seat till we pulled over for the night at 350 miles. Next day took AirHawk off and started the next 350 leg of our trip. Without it, I didn't even reach the "agony" level at all. Over the last 40 miles my backside was talking some, but nothing compared to when I had the AirHawk on. Pro's- - Easy to install - Easy to set up air pressure for my body. Con's- - It did not improve my seat time at all. In fact, it got worse. - Despite cinching it up tight to my bike seat, it still moved around under me....not what you want in the twisty's. Conclusion- The seat did not live up it's claims of making things better. I'm just going to have to bite the bullet and get that custom seat.

Provides the extra needed comfort at your convenience
The product extends my motorcycle trips for at least 3 to 4 hours. It's much cheaper than buying a new motorcycle seat and I have not tried that, to compare the difference in comfort, because this product does the trick. Its very easy to inflate and install/remove on my motorcycle. You can inflate it, while its installed on the bike (i.e. easy access to air tube), to the perfect comfort level for you through trial and error. It will take a a few centimetres of height off the ground because you are adding an air seat to your motorcycle seat, so make sure you can still ride comfortably with your feet a little higher off the ground. I have a very tall bike and I tip toe on the ground with the air hawk seat but still find it comfortable and safe. Enjoy!

High end price wise but worth every penny!
It’s a god send … I used to struggle after a couple of hours on the bike but this is a fabulous bit of kit … all the way to Belgium and back and no sore backside … best money I have spent in a long time!
