CONTAINS MALTODEXTRIN!!!
READ THE INGREDIENTS!!!! This is NOT 100% organic raspberry powder. It also contains MALTODEXTRIN!! UGH! I am so bummed I did not see Mr. Levine's review from Aug 2020 when I purchased this powder, AND I neglected to read the ingredients in the photos on the listing. I may as well have thrown my $$ in the trash than bought this stuff. Why is MALTODEXTRIN bad? MALTODEXTRIN is a white powder made from corn, rice, potato starch, or wheat. Even though it comes from plants, it's highly processed. To make it, first the starches are cooked, and then acids or enzymes such as heat-stable bacterial alpha-amylase are added to break it down further. MALTODEXTRIN wreaks all kinds of havoc on your gut health, ESPECIALLY for those with celiac disease (as some MALTODEXTRIN is derived from wheat, and for those sensitive or allergic to MSG. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE!

Unhealthy product, false misleading labelling!
Scant flavor! Contains maltodextrin. Does not state the percentage of maltodextrin. The glycemic index of maltodextrin is roughly twice that of sugar, so this product is definitely not healthy despite raspberries being very healthy. 4 gms of a teaspoon of 100 percent pure raspberry powder has 1.6 gms of sugar/ carbohydrate. So, 28 gms of pure 100 percent raspberry powder has approximately 11 gm of carbohydrate. This product has 16 gms. That means this product has about 5gms/ teaspoon of maltodextrin in 28 grams or a one ounce serving. We needed about a tablespoon of this powder for any flavor or color in yoghurt. Also, the organic maltodextrin is misleading since maltodextrin is an artificially prepared broken down carbohydrate not a naturally occurring compound. Will not be purchasing this product again. Food to live should not claim this as a healthy product.

MSG Alert.
My bad. I didn't look closely enough at the ingredients. I've purchased raspberry powder from other brands before and never were there any added ingredients. But, "maltodextrin"!? That is one of the code names for MSG. It is unfortunate that they promote a healthy, organic product and ruin it with MSG. I didn't ask for my money back as it was my oversight. But I wrote this review in the hopes that it might help those trying to avoid MSG (hard to do with manufacturers/labelers using secret code!)

Add this to kefir water during the second ferment. OH. MY!!!!!
When fresh raspberries were out, I tried some in a second ferment in kefir water. WONDERFUL! Bubbly, bright, very tasty, tangy but not too tangy, just overall good. And then came the bear family.... So, I hunted for something that would equal the fresh berries and found this. PERFECTION!! Added to the kefir during 2F phase, add a touch of dragon fruit powder for color and a nice smooth back note to the brew, and it's as close as you'll get to fresh off the canes home-grown. Excellent flavor, convenient, no seeds, just pure flavor. Great stirred into yogurt as well. Maine has notoriously short growing seasons anyway, so this is my go-to source while I watch the snow bury the lower windows at my house this winter. I'll have several bottles of 'spring' in my fridge, waiting. Thanks for an excellent product that's worth the price!

Contains Maltrodextrin!
That's what you get for not reading the reviews and detailed ingredients! Misleading product description - it is not raw or healthy!! Not able to return as well! Crazy, the description of this product should be changed asap.

Perfect ingredient for chocolate ice cream
We bought this with the intent to use it to make homemade ruby chocolate ice cream. We were not disappointed with the results. The tartness of the raspberry matched perfectly with the fruitiness of the ruby chocolate. The original recipe called for raspberry purée. However, we cannot always get fresh raspberries. Then we found this organic raspberry powder. We bought it not knowing if it could substitute for purée. However, we were happy with the results we got, and now can make ruby chocolate ice cream anytime we wish. We definitely will buy more when our supply runs out.

Tasted fresh and real
Used to add additional berry flavor to homemade berry ice cream. A tablespoon in a quart of ice cream (along with the recipe-appropriate amount of cooked fresh berries) added great extra punch of flavor.
