The media could not be loaded. Bought this kit to help find an oil leak on my engine. It worked really well. The light is super bright so make sure you wear the safety glasses. Only used a couple times but so far it’s a keeper.

I have used this light a few times with UV dye to find coolant leaks on cars. It works best in low light conditions like when it is starting to get dark or overcast days. Added UV dye to radiator then drive the car and round then using this light look all around under the engine compartment. This light really makes that UV dye stand out and easy to find the leaks. I had a few vehicles that I could not find coolant leaks because it was not a bad leak and the heat from the engine dried the coolant so nothing was wet when looking for leaks. With using the UV dye the coolant dried but the dye was still present, could not see the dye without using this light. I did not need the glasses just the light alone makes the uv dye glow and easy to see. When buying UV dye read the package because there are different types, some are for AC, some for antifreeze and especially on antifreeze if you use GM Dexcool some are not compatible with that one you have to get the UV made for Dexcool. I highly recommend this light for finding leaks with UV dye.

This helped me to identify where a leak was in power steering return line and just replace a small piece of hose and a couple of clamps instead of the entire part which was very expensive and intensive to install. It is a good product that helped me save money.

Tried using this light and it didn't work, shaking it caused it to briefly work but not long enough for me to get any use out of it.Update: Got it to work by loosening the top a little, changed my review to 3 stars. The thing should work out of the box.

HIS WORKS REALLY GOOD FOR LEAKS

Very Large and bright light with lots of LEDS. Much better than the small pen lights from the parts stores. Good buy.
